Here I am still vaping away. Sorry did not mean to worry anyone. Been busy working a lot of OT at weekends and studying for assessments. Garden was also growing a bit out of control so been busy weeding when I had any spare time. Kind of got out of the habit of posting much .......... sometimes feel I am just repeating stuff I said 100 times .

I am with Chrissie and I don't regularly clean them . I see atomisers as semi disposable and they have a life expectancy of 2-3 weeks. They may still work after that time but the vapour and throat hit they produce, for me anyway, is less than satisfactory. You get a build up of gunk on the coil and water is not going to shift it. I have a feeling anything you do use that will remove the gunk will also damage the wick. See pic in post #5 below of the coil after a few days use.... www.cavecom.com/screwdriver/forum/showthread.php?t=8935I will occasionally soak them in Coke overnight but only if I try a new liquid I don't like. This will get rid of the flavour but it will not make your atomiser live any longer.

I noticed when it is very hot and sunny the vapour I exhail appears to drop off.
Must say I have not had problems in the cold even at minus 7 I found I got pleanty vapour the flavour changes a bit but that is all.

Thank you for the links Chrissie.
I also see a supplier agrees with my theory about atomisers in a round about way. So many people report rank tasting primer in the atomiser and they think it is the type of liquid used . I think the liquid has gone off as it is not in an airtight container and I doubt sellers keep them in a refrigerated unit ,so they can easily be left lying for months at the wrong temperature.

I keep all my bottles for months as there is usually still some dregs left in the bottom even when you think its empty.
I use a shot glass with a dropper stuck in it at an angle and stick the bottles 1 at a time upside down to drain, keeping each flavour separate.
I did this at the weekend and got a total of 35ml liquid out of them

I have seen quotes of 18months shelf life for Dekang from suppliers on the ECF - Cash PureSmoker being one, but dont know if they are just covering them selves.
I also dont know if it is the nicotine that has the 18month /2 year shelf life or if it is the PG .

I think they are dumping their excess stock just incase and if there is no ban better to worry about re-stocking than getting rid of something you cannot sell.
That said some have said they will just move their business to other parts of Europe.
Jason could easily just send his stuff on to the US if he wanted to. Same goes for LibertyFlights.
They may ban liquid but I don't see how they can ban batteries and atomisers.

Shelf life for batteries should be over 2 years as long as you store them with a part charge not full or empty and some where cool.
Atomisers I never thought about but as long as the wick is moist when you start using it then there is no reason why it will go off.
I have used them when they have been lying for over 9 months.
They die or I should say stop giving good hit because of all the gunk that builds up on the coil when you are vaping not because of their age.
