A wee bit of help please. Which tank for stingray x ?

I'm waiting on a stingray x clone coming from fasttech and also ordered Russian 91%. Wanted the kayfun lite v2 but 7 days wait on it. I've read that the Russian and kayfun are not compatible without the hybrid thingy. Then I read that you shouldn't use that unless your really experienced with mods.
this will be my first mod and don't even know how to coil one of these tanks but I'm wanting to learn. It's all starting to sound very scarey. I just need something that'll look good on the stingray x and work. Any guidance would be appreciated x

You don't need to use the stingray as a hybrid.. It'll come with a normal 510 top... So any 510 attie will work ... You can't go wrong with a Taifun GT , Russian or Kayfun for your first RBA experience ... Or if recoiling becomes problematic you can always chuck an aerotank mega on top...

If you use the Brass hybrid adapter i believe you can use a kayfun.

Yeah but after reading some reviews I'm scared hahaha. Apparently people reported their battery shorted using the hybrid. As I have no clue what anyone is talking about I'm thinking I'm going to blow myself up when I get it. Fasttech have posted it so the waiting begins. I opted for China post as recommended by someone on here. They said it was faster than the pre selected registered airmail.

Having quickly read through that lengthy review you may well be ok using your KFL on it without having to go hybrid ... Give it a try first ... It all depends how far your attie centre pin protrudes if I've read it correctly

Its the nicest looking mod i have, performance wise it is similar to a nemmy. My only niggle with it is the fire button you barely need to press it. You shouldnt have a problem with it, after a week youll be wondering what all the fuss was.

Thanks I'm excited. Just hope it gets here quick. Should I buy those little plastic cases to put my batteries in? Travelling to America soon so do the need to be stored?

If you buy the batteries from torchy they come in small plastic boxes.
