Hi all, just wanted to put this out there, I Have a innokin CLK 128 kit which I have received for review, now I have watched Todd's review of this and he did not come across it, so I will mention it, now I am no electronics expert but this battery upon my testing fires a load of 0.5 ohms now the minimum it states on the specs of this is 1.2 ohms which I think is a potential safety hazard with this device as it may not detect a short through its pcb, I have had the vendor to check another and it is the same, it may fire even lower than 0.5 ohms but I am not willing to try this. Just wanted to make people aware pre my review of this, cheers Carl

Hi all, i am bumping this back upto the top as i have now performed tests of a shorted atty/clearo on various devices, here is a list of devices i tested the shorted clearo out on and the device/s showed up as a short on the devices but not on Innokin's CLK range and the 134 mini.
1. vision spinner v2 - detected short 2. standard 650mah ego batteries -detected short 3. vamo v2 & v5 - lo load on screen 4. Dovpo emech stated - short on screen 5. ipv v2 - low resistance detected 6. r2d2 vv/vw device - low load 7. vapourshark just would not fire all the above detected the clearo as a short but the clk range of batteries and the 134 mini fired the clearo which in my mind is worrying and a statement is needed from Innokin in my opinion

Interesting - I was just reading a post earlier on ECF about a problem with a CLK being "burned after overnight charge and stopped working". Not knowing anything about electronics would this be a result of the same problem ? I think I'll steer clear of them anyway !

I'm shocked that this could happen with an innokin product, but I'm sure innokin are 100% working on a fix and presume they will offer replacements for genuine products.

Yes, I'm a bit surprised too - I've got a couple of VV3s and an MVP and they have behaved perfectly. I might suggest over at ECF that the FM contacts Innokin as he/she had no joy from their vendor for a replacement. Edited to add : someone has now already suggested contacting Innokin so I hope they do so.

Good catch Carl, just checked my 134mini with a 0.7ohm rda and it wouldn't fire, just gives a solid green light for a few seconds.

Just for info I sent an email to pbusardo advising him of this thread and the review, in the hopes he will take a gander. He is well known to Innokin and if anyone can check it out it is probably him. He may not even read the email for a few weeks/months but I figure it is worth a try.

I have checked it on a oscilloscope and I can assure you it is sending far to much power to the coil I will record it at work put it on utube and put a link to it here
