kayfun throat hit =0

Me again so I am having an ongoing kayfun problem so much so that I retired my kayfuns for 2 weeks and tried again tonight.

The problem is using the kayfun, I have had to reduce the nicotine from 12mg and am currently trying 7mg. My juice is a fruity flavor which are not known for plenty throat hit but at 70/30 pg/vg even at 7mg in a protank with microcoil I get a good hit but in the kayfun I get zero, it's like vaping air!

I have tried adjusting airflow, raising the coil and shortening the coil from the deck and no real change apart from the warmth of the juice. My coil is 1.7 ohms and I'm a bit reluctant to go lower as I don't like the warmth it brings.

Am I to resign to a tickly vape? Or is there anything else I can try?

maybe try a 1.5 ohm coil with the airflow fully open

Thanks decoy, I will give that a go tomorrow although a 1.4 I tried was too hot so maybe I'll lower the coil. That's the thing with rebuildables, you can get the perfect build...until you have to rebuild again and something goes out of sync!

what size wire are you using

I ran out of .25 so brought .28 but not happy with it in all honesty, I think I will reorder the first one

hi I found the best way to get kayfun to work a1 is put a bigger drip tip in you'll get a throat hit then it makes it 100% better I hope this helps all the best vic

I never thought of that! Will get out my drip tips tomorrow and see what I have. Actually it probably is a contributing factor as when I first got it, I had it set up sweet and I was using one of my favorite drip tips but after breaking two of them, I have moved into different ones. Well try that definitely, thank you

I am literally a total kayfun noobie but I think I fluked on my first build Iused 0.32 28 gauge wire wrapped on a 2.5 mm bit at 1.5 ohms with cotton and red astaire.
Just ran out so took tank apart cleaned in soapy water dried etc same coil and this time Ihave rayon in it with redbeards green fairy using full ss setup for this juice
