hi
I used to smoke years ago, and as it was so unhealthy I gave up. it was very difficult but I miss smoking, I have done for ages, but now e cigarettes are available, I have bought a vivid e liquid starter kit today. it is one you fill up with vivid e liquid.
I was wondering if you can fill this vivid cigarette with any make of e liquid?
or is there anything else you would recommend?
it's not just that I miss smoking, but I get really anxious, stressed, I'm on antidepressants, and I read that nicotine gives you ups.

deedee71Nicotine does interact with certain psychiatric meds though I don't know which ones. I would try (like has already been said) nicotine free. It maybe the action of smoking you need and the breathing rather than the actual nicotine... E-cigs may not be around 'forever' so if you are not on cigarettes already I wouldn't recommend anything other than a nic free e-cig to start with Also if you are depressed/anxious reducing your caffeine and also exercise and healthy eating may help Jane

I wanted to reduce stress and anxiety as well as curious about these ecigs. I thought nicotine could maybe help me in that way?
do you know any good places to get the eliquids?

To start with it can be tricky finding flavours that you like. JooseJuice link sell 10ml testers for £1.49 a pop, you can get zero nic, and try out a few flavours quite cheaply. JJ are highly rated around here, very friendly, very helpful, and super fast delivery..... but, i think they are off from 22/08 till early Sept, so get an order in quick if you fancy it. Oh, and welcome to aaec!

Hiya deedee71 and to AAEC. Check out the vendors board HERE for your needs, I would highly recommend Chefs Vapour and Alchemists Cupboard for eliquids, along with Joose Juice and Lickwid for some cheaper juice. These juices will all need to be 'steeped' (left alone for a little time for the juice to mature) for a little while to get the best out of them as they are normally made fresh to order. If you have any questions don't be shy, just ask and someone here will gladly help you out.

hi
thank you everyone for the warm welcomes and help. well, since my last post I went to work, popped in the fag shop, they had vapourlites, I asked for nicotine free e-liquid to use with my vivid and he said it doesn't work with the vivid so I had to buy his vapour thing, well, now I am thinking he conned me, also the vapour cigarette looks cheap and my friend says it doesn't look like it has a coil? I didn't get a receipt and I'm rubbish at confrontations, so I will return the vivid to superdrug and get my money back on that and put up with this cheapo thingy from the fag shop and in the meantime, please could someone help me xhoose something nice but not expensive lol. also my friend said you have to change something every 3 weeks?

I believe the vivid kit comes from Asda? they have various liquids in varioous strenghts, If you were a heavy smoker try 24mg, if medium 18mg if light 12mg or lower, remember nicotine in itself is relatively harmless, it's the rest of the shit that you burn in a ciggie that causes the harm. Welcomme to the forum, the only stupid question is the one you don't ask. as for liquids there are loads of vendors, smokerainbow sell samplers of loads of liquids from a huge number of vendors for not very much money which allows you to try allsorts without a great outlay (I have no connection with them). Welcometo the forum deedee71

hi prr, roscopecotrain and Charon.
thank you, I have looked at jj and that site looks brilliant. I am going to have to try at least 1 or 2 different flavours
do you need a clearomister for each flavour of ejuice, or do you wash out the clearomister when changing/trying new flavours please?

Hey deedee71 ,I don't know what budget you have, but this is really good kit.Come with 2 tanks,2 batteries, and 5 coil heads(the thing you change every 2 weeks )Later on you can order only coils to replace the ones that are no longer good to use.Really easy to fill and clean.
