Hi all, need your expert opinion on the mini nemesis, I went into a vaping shop today, to make some general enquiries about batteries, and he advised me to get a "mini nemesis" 14490, he didn't have one! my question is...where would you advise me to buy one from? what battery/batteries would I need? would you recommend me getting one of these? I am a 66yr old female by the way "a young at heart one at that" Ha!, I was wondering if I would look silly puffing clouds of vaper from one of these if it is a big thingy, but I love lots of clouds that is why the lad advised me getting one, I didn't do any research until I talked to my fella vapers on here, cos I know you will guide me down the right road

Thats nice and small, honest! You do have to balance the smallness to how long a battery will last. Heres a pair of my 14500 mods (same size) 1st is a chi sleek with mini protank, 2nd is a Simplicity T with dripper = both 14500 battery size DId you particularly want one with removable/rechargeable batteries?

Its not just the battery mod that you need to think about regarding creating a bit of vapour it is the atomiser which tend to be rebuildable to create large effects of "smoke" I love kayfuns but others will pop along to offer advise to other options you can get a decent vape cloud from an evod if it is wicked correctly and match with the right battery, but a battery alone wont be the be all and end all of a cloud of vapour.

I have to say I do like the 14500 mods ....I also like the ego's I like the smaller form ...the biggest difference I personally find is with the 14500 I can take a slower longer "draw" and it doesn't cut out like the ego batteries do I believe they're doing a group buy on the mini nemi at focale :-)

The nemi is definitely removable batteries, what we call 'a mod'
Now that also means that it is a mechanical mod, there are plusses and minuses to them. Basically, if you make and recoil your own tanks and attys etc. A mech. mod is fine, as you can tailor your vape (quality) to match but as its not regulated the battery starts off strong and slowly gets weaker and you have to work out when to remove the battery and add a fresh one.
That part used to worry me half to death! HOW WOULD i KNOW? now I do know as I have been vaping a while and you learn?...but if you like an easy life and simple shop bought coils in your tanks I would recommend staying with regulated (electric innards) variable voltage/wattage.
You also have to factor in cost with mechanical mods, a good charger and lots of correct sized batteries (and the right type) I now like removable batteries, it means my expensive gear will last forever, whereas if you buy a spinner/twist/itaste vv they will eventually stop charging after a year or so as the inbuilt battery has come to end of its life. But then they are reasonably priced so you can balance cost against battery life and a year is fine when they cost £10-20 max

Focal Ecigs is a China website/shop that many of us buy from as they are very cheap, They sell lots of good copies of expensive e-cigarette brands and some genuine china made stuff. The payoff is they take a few weeks to arrive from posted. AHA group buy Heres a direct link to mechanical mod clones (copy versions) of a nemi :Dwith china buys the givaway is when they say 'style' in title, its NOT the real thing, its a copy but often they are of very good quality and now and then they are rubbish ... but tHE best bit, very cheap!

ampsy If you are still at the basic ego/evod kit stage then I would probably recommend an itaste vv? If I wasn't such a vaping geek I would happily still be using them! The two back - far right - are itaste vv's an 800mah battery that you can vape and charge through and yes the batteries will finally die after about a year but at £20 per battery (or £15 from China) I'd say that was good value for a variable voltage/wattage battery. I started with iclear16 tanks (China £2) coils lasted up to 3 months, 6 weeks at the minimum, but as they are dual coil they drink lots of juice (eliquid) but very flavoursome. Then I moved onto mini protanks, as I like glass.. I could taste the plastic weirdly enough? the minus to the protanks is coils dont last as long, but then I learnt to remake them very cheap and a nice vape taste

a mini nemesis is usually a 18350 battery and a nemi is a 14500 so i'm not sure which he was recommending but tbh and my imo - unless you recoil your own tanks a mechanical mod <<which they are>> is a bit of a waste of time! I could be wrong but fairly sure thats the case....you will get a better, more satisfying vape from a variable voltage wattage (vv/vw) with shop bought coils
