I think that's a bit out of order - basically, whatever his alleged good intent, he's passing off adulterated product.
Not good, and a poor attitude to boot.

I think that could be a mistake that could cost him his buisness

Well, I wouldn't wish that on anyone, but if your going to go into business, you need to play with a straight bat - especially in the e-juice business.

After the reaction of people on that thread I think he will have his job cut out regaining peoples trust, I don't think having a dig at a well respected vendor like Jason helped either if he apologised or not

Indeed - and he hasn't been pulled on using the vapefest and cam-vip images without any formal relationship yet.. my gut instinct says "avoid".

This flaming is going to come back and bite many in the butt cheeks, One day the media will get hold of this and probably at a point when very important debates are taking place about the vaping world. I agree that this sort of behaviour needs to be highlighted and vendors that are dangerous in their ignorance need to be stopped. very worrying times Regulation it would seem, is the only answer.

Careful what you wish for. I don't know what the answer is, but I'm pretty sure regulation isn't it. Not yet, anyways.

The problem is, if vendors continue with these daft tricks, regulation is an absolute given - it's only going to take one serious incident and all hell will break loose. So far, we've been lucky - but, in all honesty, the days of the kitchen table alchemist selling juice are numbered. It's going to have to be "lab conditions or don't bother" in fairly short order, I think. it's far too easy to get it wrong, even more so if maths is not your strong point.
It's a crying shame this has happened, but it does, at the very least, serve to point out the dangers and pitfalls.

I can't believe he altered the juice and thought he was doing his customers a favour.

changing a product without the customer being made aware is TOTALLY out of order. amplified by the fact he didn't even know what he was doing !!! if he is indeed passionate about vaping he should be well aware of the issues as of late and the traceability we need so that stricter regulations arnt FORCED apon us. as for attacking Jason VE and other vendors for having higher prices, that was totally off topic but for my 2p worth i ONLY buy from vendors i can trust and don't mind paying for that peice of mind

And that is the point I was trying to make, regulation is the only answer, unless we can make a governing body to oversee these things you can bet your backside that the government will. Maybe- hopefully, this case can highlight the pitfalls of flying in to things without your brain engaged no matter how innocent your cause might be, and open peoples eyes to the dangers so that it doesn't happen again.

Well, to give a bit of an explanation of how that all started (for those who don't know)... Glenn had done a review for me of the HS Premium liquids and somebody from UKV asked if they were the same as the ones sold by the other vendor (a lot cheaper). Because that vendor was offering a 34mg strength liquid and I knew from my dealings with Hangsen that they do not produce e-liquid over 26mg, I made the assumption that they were not the same product as mine (at the time I thought the vendor may have been using Hangsen Concentrates and creating the liquids himself - nothing at all wrong with that). It transpires that this was not the case and the vendor had added nicotine to the premixed liquid. An action that he has stated was a mistake and that he regrets, which I believe is true. At no time was my intention to cause the vendor any harm or disruption to his business, I was simply answering a question as I saw it. The vendor has apologised to me for the original comments made in the review thread and I have accepted his apology. Hopefully, this incident will help to sharpen the focus of all vendors (myself included) and ultimately lead to consistent products for the consumer. As most of you know, the premixed liquid I supply is produced, bottled and labelled by Hangsen (under the Vape Escape branding). Hangsen supply vendors with regular in-house and independent test certificates and are I believe one of, if not the, most reliable and technically advanced suppliers of pre-mixed liquids. The Gourmet Range of e-liquids are produced in the UK, using high quality nicotine base supplied by Nicvape in Minnesota, who again carry out in house titration testing and external batch testing. All of the nicotine that we import is within the UK limits and fully declared. Our PG and VG are supplied by R&D Laboratories and all flavourings used are supplied by Flavourart, Perfumers Apprentice, Decadent Vapours and Lorann. They are all water soluble, food grade flavours which contain no diacetyl. So I hope that explains a little more about the source of our products and that it helps to give assurance.
