I haven't been to any but they seem to have a lot of fun...

Getting BIG clouds involves a lot more than just throwing in a super low res coil and doing a big lung inhale. It's more complex than that..

placement of the coil(s), placement and size of the airholes, design of dripper, all these variables play a big part in getting serious clouds..

Of course, battery safety knowledge is a must.. if you were to overstep the capability of the battery you could quite easily do a lot of damage!

I wouldn't call it a sport.. more a hobby. Most of the guys doing this seriously (entering comps etc) are on 0 nic 100% vg juices and do it just for fun.

Biggest problem with cloudchasing is that it gives the wrong impression to "newbies".. firing a coil as low as 0.02ohms is no joke and should be treated with extreme care. Unfortunately there are a lot of people who see these big clouds and think "I can do that" without doing their research.. this could shut down vaping altogether with one single bad incident!

I personally think that endorsement of cloud chasing comps by vendors and juice producers doesn't do the industry any favours what so ever.

Each to their own and if people want to cloud chase then so be it.

Industry endorsement smacks of irresponsibility to me and is ammo for the antz.

i can see why people like it cause its a good laugh blowing a few clouds, and thats how some people enjoy to vape, but the cloud competitions and stuffs a bit sad though aint it.
