Yeah Griff - one tube is bubbling fine the other is not no matter what I do? Any ideas? I think I'm using 500 mesh - not sure

@johanino Roll 2 wicks out of 14mm long x 27mm wide, (400 is ideal, but if it is 500 it shouldn`t be a problem). Use a straightened paper clip and roll the ss mesh round it. Roll them so they just fit snugly through the 2 holes...not too tight and no too loose. Then torch them and cut one end on each wick at an angle. put the paper clip back down the hole so it opens up the end/s you have just cut at an angle.

If I ever come off excalibur I'll try this thanks Griff...I torch mine before I roll them. How do you hold such weeny tubes when you are torching them?

Lightly torch the edges of the ss mesh before rolling. Once rolled hold the ss mesh wicks gently with tweezers or leave the straightened paper clip in and hold the paper clip with tweezers and torch it until it glows red. Do that a couple of times.

Well Griff you need more than a couple of spare mesh tubes for a week's hols...

I killed all my tubes in two days and (part of the reason) ended up coming home early to sort out taifun

I don't know what I'm doing wrong with my taifun gs clone today but it's driving me nuts...

I could just be having a bad day .....tis life

Now the opposite.....

Sure it's the antis in my life praying against my e-cig (always seems to play up after mentioning it to the praying antis) but still....some would call this plain paranoia. I call it no fun!

I use a micro coil, cw when you thread it through the coil make sure you have like a pad of cw each end of the coil and the feeder tubes just touch the pads! i`ve been using the same feeder tubes for over a year! just burn them sometimes with a blowtorch!

either I vape like trouper or I'm doing something wrong. I change my feeder tubes at least once a week Sometimes more.....

It's not like you need much mesh and it's mega expensive...

All fixed now (even paranoia)

Don't know what I was doing wrong. all I have learnt is have the coil too close to the air flow and it will guaranteeablely throw your resistances LOL
