Nemesis annoyance

Ripshod I know what your saying is correct, the switch pin should be tight and you tighten up to the battery by screwing the whole switch up till it stops on the bottom of the battery. All these clones can be slightly different in there dimensions and mine seems to be 2mm too long. Im sure I could use a couple of washers if I needed to, but it works fine like this.

If you're happy, then I'm happy. Please tho, we must all try to help others in a more positive and safer way. If a battery is too short then either the washer trick, or even magnets for flat top batteries (in my book anyway).

I didn't realise there would be a safety issue with what I was suggesting. But looking at the switch I can see that if it came apart the screw rattling around in there could cause the mod to fire the atty.

Fair play then. I must have been using mine all wrong too.

My other clones I have here just use the two tubes for 18650 length, switch and topcap. No beauty ring, but then I use flat-top batteries.

Are you using the beauty ring / kick ring jmw2309?

My eyes, I missed that. Good spot! It's only about 4 or 5mm high, but that's enough.

It may be the airflow ring that you see

Please tell me if its not, ive had this mod for over 3 months and cant see any other join that may come apart.

Yep - you've taken the airflow off on the right.

Now take the beauty ring off the left. It may be overtightened, so mole grips and inner tube, but it SHOULD come off.

jmw2309, you should look for this small extension too. When my nemesi arrived this section was in the centre of the main body, but it could be anywhere in the tube. If you can't see it from the outside you should be able to feel the joins on the inside of the body tube.

I got it off, destroyed the ring in the process but the mod is unharmed.
It was on so tight it just wouldn't budge, the threads at the bottom of the ring split from the ring so I just ripped it off with some grips. Thought I had killed it when the copper split.
Didn't want that bit anyway
