It's just not firing? Does the switch move when pressed? If you gently shake it can you hear the battery moving around? Can you post a pic of it setup?

Take the top of the nemi and stick the atty to it, tighten the top pin or screw to atty then stick the top back on the nemi tube. Make sure the bottom pin screw is also tight.

Or a better answer may be: You'll never get it to work, so send it to me!

+1 what Fred said about the beauty ring. You don't really need it. +1 send it to Fred if you have no joy. 2nd in line.

Is this the one I sold you then?
We might need more info about what you have tried and what you haven't tried.
As said above, you first need to make sure the battery is tight in there. So connect the atty to the top cap first, then tighten in the screw until it makes a connection with the 510 pin. Then you stick it onto the top of the mod. Then you select the appropriate tubes for the size of battery you are using, and whether you need to use the beauty ring or not (nipple top ot not)?
Then you need to adjust the screw in the switch to take out the battery rattle. So first screw it in and see how it is. If it's screwed tight to the end, then give the mod a shake, and see if the battery rattles. If it does, you need to make an adjustment to the screw inside the derlin on the switch. Push down on the spring / magnets (derlin), and screw the silver contact screw in whatever way you need it to go (clockwise screws it in and makes the switch shorter, anti-clockwise screws it out, making the switch longer, thus removing any battery rattle). Ideally you want the switch to screw in enough that you can't see any threading left, but have enough throw, with the locking ring fully wound back, to let the contact screw make contact with the battery.
Some more information on what you have tried, and how you are using it would help if this doesn't work. And pics always help.

Not on a nemmy you don't, you sort out the top end then screw the button in, it's not adjustable, that screw is for holding the switch together.
I'd recommend more sleep for you man lol

The screw on the nemmi switch should always be tight, or it could fall apart leaving the battery permanently connected to your atty. That's important - a mistake here will cook your juice at the very least.
so: Remove the top off your nemmi. Fix it to the atty then tighten the contact screw. Add the lower tubes, the battery, and fit the switch. If the battery rattles about loose you need to remove a section of the tube.
Never ever adjust the switch srew to adjust the throw. If you want to reduce the throw take some 400 grit sandpaper and gradually remove some of the insulator on the switch. But always make sure there is clearance betwern the top of the insulator and the screw. If you're not 100% sure about doing this then don't.

Like everyone says, attach the atty first then screw in the pin so it makes contact with the atty.
Screw the atty now with the top cap attached on to the top of the mod.
Now screw in the switch until it makes contact with the battery.
If there is too small a throw(gap for the switch to move) like above then the bottom pin wont clear the insulator and make contact with the battery. Take the switch out and adjust the bottom pin by unscrewing it just a little bit (My switch is different in the way it acts, because of the magnets I added). Don't unscrew it too far as these switches notoriously fly apart by themselves if you unscrew the pin too much.
Screw the switch back on the mod until its tight to the battery. There should now be enough of a gap(throw) so the pin clears the insulator and it fires. If you aim for the same gap when assembled as I have in the pic below, then you shouldn't have any problems with the switch coming undone

That was my understanding of how it worked ^^^ (for VERY small adjustments when you have a small battery and the locking ring gets in the way).

hijack noooo. I have a lot of respect for the information you give. However on this occasion you're wrong. The switch contact must be screwed in fully, else the switch can fall apart and short. I don't know if you have a genuine or clone nemmi, but the screw on the clones is very loose in it's threads. We need to differentiate between genuine and clone when posting info like this. With the genuine nemmi it is adjustable and will stay where it's set. On clones it really does rattle on the threads - potential for disaster. I'm not saying you give bad advice, I 've absorbed a hell of a lot of info that you've posted here regarding batteries etc. But on this occasion we should make clear that only a genuine nemmi has an adjustable switch.

I am trying to use an 18650 flat top but it is not having it. I shall give up and try later! And sorry it's a clone

If Im wrong to suggest the above then I hold my hands up. mine is a clone, and when using a flat top battery and having the screw tightened up it looks like this.
I have no choice but to unscrew the switch pin so I have enough movement in the switch so it will fire.

Never seen that before hijack. If the screw feels loose in it's threads I'd suggest maybe a couple of fibre washers, to lift the pin whilst keeping it secure? I just want everyone to play safe at the end of the day. No disrespect m8
