This weekend the meantime brewery in Greenwich having a fest, not particularly cheap, we just stumbled on it last year without knowing (and with our own booze in picnic bag).
Anyone there Saturday look for 3 idiots on grass having picnic, one vaping and itching to get to bar.

Wish our distillery would have a whiskey Fest rather than just doing tourist tours (for $$$) with said "FREE" tasting at the end.

I can't remember how much I enjoyed their Wheat Beer!!! Where's their fest? The brewery is on a industrial estate.

Hmmmmmm I went on a free tour of the Glenfidich distillery a few years back, and managed to neck half a bottle of The Belvinie 12 year old because an American tourist keeled over and the guide was distracted.

how much a pint is it in London now Can be £5 and more west end/city. If you know where to go you can get a decent pint for under £4. I tend to sit on a kerb stone with a bottle of meths to keep myself topped up, and on benefit days treat myself to some crystal meth, call me old fashioned, but you can't help reverting to the way you were brought up.

Tried making some cider last year but the yeast failed The turbo yeast someone else mentioned is crazy stuff. I don't know how much it affects the flavour but I have a packet that claims it will work between 18 and 38 centigrade. I don't have a boiler tank in my cupboard anymore, which I adjusted the temp to 22 centigrade, never had a brew die. Now I'll be using an immersion heater. Brewing ones cost £30, fish tank ones do the same job, a 50w heater with thermostat on the slow boat £5.

Tried making some cider last year but the yeast failed More than likely the apple juice you used contained sorbate or sulphite preservatives, that kills the yeast. Use the cheapest but make sure it doesn't contain the preservatives. You can remove the preservatives by boiling for 15miins then cooling, but then it's not Turbo Cider. It's call that because it's really quick and easy to make, no faffing about with real apples, no boiling and cooling. and contrary to popular belief it's not because it's really strong. Someone mentioned a still, my mate has this one and he Produces healthy distilled water or this if you Prefer something shiney
