Sorry guys think I'm going to have to pull out of the meet up, lots of drama at work which has resulted in me losing 30 hours of work next week and will be the case for a while. Just don't think I can justify the costs for a few hours out.

I'm going to have to say no as well.

I haven't had any work for a fortnight now and nothing on the horizon.I'm having to look at minimum wage laboring jobs, as I can't get any information about plumbing contracts that are within 1 and 8 miles of me.I thought after retraining it would be a struggle at first and then things would get better , this has definitely not been the case.

seniorphil, good news, my manager has ok'd me having saturday off, so I can change my status from a 'maybe' to an 'almost certnainly' (will upgrade to 'definitely' once the new amended rota goes up!)

We've got 30 on the list now, some are doubtful, but some will bring friends and family and some don't pre-announce their attendance.
