I started vaping about 18 months ago after my friend started, not touched a stinky since but she relapsed a few months later. The CE clearomiser and ego battery didn't quite do it for her but now she wants to try again. After a chat with her to find out what the problem was it seems it was the whole refilling/charging/ cleaning etc. all the things that make vaping so much fun. So I'm looking for a kit that needs minimum maintenance and gives a good hit. Don't want to get her a cigalike but something with auto battery and refillable cartridges ( I'll refill them). Anybody got any ideas? I don't know the first thing about this sort of kit so would appreciate any help. [also don't want to spend too much in case it doesn't work, (need my pennies for FT).] Thanks in advance

You're gonna struggle No matter what, it'll need charging. Don't think you'll get an auto battery that's not a cig-a-like. Cleaning and filling - if you are doing it, you can use anything - would suggest evod/mini protank, but I think there maybe newer/better things available? Not sure about using cartos, as if she drains it and burns it, it'll not be worth refilling as it will always taste burnt. What dou you use? Has she tried it? Could you lend her some for a week or so to see if she likes it?

Honestly, I'd say the simplest effective kit is an EVOD kit. Only two parts and the coil. But if your lady friend wants to do less filling/charging etc then perhaps she should go for a larger tank such as a protank 2 or 3 and add a higher capacity battery while she's at it. Going for a MVP or such like will add further battery life, but then again she may dislike the box form factor (like me) or just dislike the larger size.
MyEpack do dual evod kits at a good price. She can be using one battery while the other charges, and cleaning the tanks is as simple as it gets. With two tanks she can even filll em both in the morning and probably not need to refill for the rest of the day.
On top of this, as you'll know, EVODS, although cheap and simple devices are worlds ahead of CE type clearos in the vape they give.

Thanks, I'm using a kanger t3s on a 1300 ego at the moment, got an evod which is brilliant but not enough capacity for me. and tried a carto which again was great but needed filling to often.. I think maybe what she needs is a good auto battery and I'll do the maintenance. charging won't be a problem if she's got a spare, her first set up only had 1 battery. Also I think it might be better if she had something "girly" She's tried my stuff a few times and liked it but it wasn't quite right. Maybe a pink evod?

Should add that she's not technically minded at all so even pushing a button is too much, although she can run rings round anybody using a keyboard, spreadsheets hold no mystery to her and her complaint letters for compo are the best.

If you find an auto battery that's not a cig-a-like, I'd be interested to hear about it (Not that I want one, but don't think you'll find one) The trouble with an auto, is I believe they can bork very easily if a drop of juice gets in them, which can happen quite easily with a lot of clearos. Ego/evod/Riga is probably the way forward, even if its just a little 650mah or something.

I don't know anybody who has tried this, but it is a 650mah automatic. She'd need a couple, and if you are filling for her, a few (non-standard) spare clearos. Or, bite the bullet and get her a few decent cig-alike batteries and cartridges. Some people do vape quite happily on those things. I did for a couple of months myself. The trick is to have plenty of them, and at least two chargers, and top up the juice often. If the juice she was using before is OK then it would probably work fine, though a bit pricey of course.

Only autos I have seen are on pipes. Tbh I would go with a spinner and a nautilus tank big 5 mil capacity very easy to fill and put new coils in. Spinner has good battery life over an evod Yes a bit more complex but if she can manage PC bits this should be a doddle. It may be a little intimidating hence she wants the simplest option which won'tbe the best. Gl with your quest.

Wow, I'd forgot about the screwdriver, no. 1 in stealth vaping. Nearly bought one a year ago. Vapeescape is just down the road from me so might pop in and have a chat with Jason. 510 cigalike batteries are cheap on FT . My friend started me vaping and I am so grateful that I will try anything to get her back on track.. Apologies if this doesn't look right, I'm on a tablet now using Tapatalk, not the best mobile option ...

Thanks for the replies, I've been a bit busy lately so not been on . I've ended up giving her a spare Kanger T3s and 900mah ego battery until we can get to the vape shop. I'll clean it, recoil and refill for her when needed so all she has to do is recharge and vape on. I do like that screwdriver though... got some spare cartos lying around somewhere.

Go for a MEOW kit very nice piece of kit for a lady. Had no idea what you meant until I googled it(other search engines are available) Not really her style but interesting for a Bleep pressy. thank you. (Bleep = BLEEP, bloody auto nanny) Why won't it let me type Bleep or BLEEP?? just puts Bleep? What happens when we all wish everybody a merry BLEEP and a happy new year? Has Bleep been cancelled this year? did we upset somebody?
