Hello all, I recently started smoking casually at the start of university (3-4 years ago) and from then it's just gone downhill, with me smoking nearly a pack a day/getting through a 25g bag of rolling tobacco in just under a week. It's time I stop smoking not just for the health benefits but also because of how bad everything tastes/how bad my clothes smell after smoking. If I don't keep myself busy in uni I always end up lighting up. :/ I tried my friends vape pen who has already jumped on the bandwagon and I love it. I've never thought about buying a vape pen before so forgive me if i get anything wrong but I've done a bit of research and thought about buying the things below to start with:- myepack.co.uk/kits/evod-glass-starter-kit.htmlmyepack.co.uk/review/product/list/id/1029/category/17/ *2 myepack.co.uk/accessories/kanger-dual-coil-head.html Are these the coils I should be buying? :S vaporized.co.uk/ Thinking of buying my e-juice from here. I greatly appreciate any help! Thank you!

to the forum. Your choice of starter kit is probably what would have been recommended, so I'd say go for it. However, don't think those coils will fit as they're dual coil. I think you'll need single coil for those clearos. And I wouldn't buy juice from them! Look at the approved vendor list, or wait for further recommendations. Have a start by looking at joose juice - good price, and a lot of folk here use them. Now we've got the ball rolling, others will be along to help...........

Sounds like you have some understanding of what's good and what's not. For starting out those are good choices. As for liquid, I don't know that vendor at all, but I can give you some general advice. DON'T buy large quantities of liquid until you know what you like. It will take trial and error to find out what nicotine level is right for you as well as which flavours you like. Even when you find something you are happy with, resist the urge to stock up. As your system cleans itself up after smoking your tastes and preferred nicotine levels are likely to change. If the nicotine level is too low for you, you will find it hard to get off the stinkies and if it is too high you will feel strange and/or get headaches. Both flavour preferences and nicotine strengths are personal. Other people can advise you where to start, but only you can find out what actually works for you. Welcome to the forum and don't be afraid to ask more questions if you need to

You have picked the right coils, the evod glass and protank 3 are both dual coil tanks.

Thank you very much for all the help! Can I just ask:- How will I know when a coil needs replacing? How long do the coils usually last? How long does that sort of battery last? Finally (sorry for all the questions D:), I was thinking of how much juice I would need to get to start with. I was thinking maybe 2 weeks worth every time I order. To save me having to go through the order process every few days. Thoughts? I know it's very very different from person to person, but how much ml am i looking at using on average a day? 3-5ml? Thank you!

All good questions How will I know when a coil needs replacing? ... The vape become unsatisfying and/or it starts gurgling and playing up How long do the coils usually last? ... depends on liquid and how much you vape anything from 3days to 3weeks. You can make them last longer with dry burning or recoiling/wicking. Get the basics under your belt before you worry about this kind of thing. Might be worth keeping your spent heads for the future in case you decide to fiddle How long does that sort of battery last? ... depends on how much you vape and the resistance (ohm) of your coil heads. very roughly between half a day and a day between recharges. Being charged once a day they should be good to use for months.

What dragon said!
But when a coil has gone bad, keep it safe.
Eventually, you WILL start recoiling your own, and all your spent ones can be recoiled many times. This will cost you about 5p each, and about 10 mins of your time. And the vape is better from your own coils than factory ones!
Even if you can't be arsed, if you have a few that need doing, forum members offer to do them very cheaply, or even free sometimes.

Welcome aboard opensecret. Can tell you've been doing your research, that's a great selection As already pointed out there's a lot of much better juices to choose from. You'll get a good idea where to go looking around these forums, and especially the Juice Reviews section.

Hello opensecret and welcome to the forum Starter kit looks good and if theres a bricks and mortar vaping shop near you it may be worthwhile paying it a visit to try out some juice, they often have lots of small tanks filled with a variety of juices for taste testing

Greetings and to AAEC opensecret Kit selection is fine, but if you can say where abouts you are, it's possible that you may be within reach of a local Vape meet or other members.........Great idea to go into a B & M store, but they have larger overheads and can be more expensive than online vendors..... If you need any more help, just ask on and don't worry.............nobody in this forum will be dismisive or judgmental of your input.

Hiya and welcome to the forum opensecret Lots of good advice offered already so you know where to look for your starter gear I know what you mean about lighting up and smoking tons, I used to sit on my PC at night and have a drink or two and realise i'd smoked 20 fags! ??? the great thing about vaping is you replicate your smoking habit without the danger
