snaggletooth75 personally I'd stick around 1.8Ohm heads in mini protanks, and adjust the voltage on the spinners to suit the juice - go lower ohms with higher voltage and you will get dry hits most of the time, plus I find 1.8ohm on a standard ego-type battery is a good compromise when you don't have vv

I am thinking about getting the Tesla sidewinder , it has 2000 mah. I found it on the Fast Tech website for $13.13 each. What is everyone's take on Fast Tech here on this forum? Should I buy the Tesla Sidewinder from Fast Tech or should I not buy it from there? The reason I wanted to buy the Tesla Sidewinder from Fast Tech is because it's cheaper than from Madvapes where it is $27.99 USD. Should I just bite the bullet and pay full price from a very reputable e-cigarette vendor than a "discount" store from China?

If you're not in a hurry, Fasttech is a great site to get very cheap stuff. Most of their stuff are clones. If it says Authentic in the product name then it is, but otherwise it's likely to be a clone, which in itself is not a bad thing. I don't know the sidewinder, but if it has an integrated battery, rather than being a tube you put your own batteries in, then there may be shipping delays. It'll get to you eventually, but if it's something you want within the next few weeks, then bite the bullet and buy locally.

Sidewinder listed as Spider on fasttech, but the 2000mAh ones are fixed voltage at $13. The Spider II 2000mAh variable voltage are $20, so check which version you're getting from Madvapes...personally I wouldn't buy a fixed voltage battery ever again, the versatility of VV just wins every time in my book Oh, and I get all my hardware from either fasttech or focal ecig, both in China, but the prices make it worth the wait (2-4 weeks to UK, don't know how quick/slow it is to North America) for me just a thought.... don't know what Canadian customs are like for posted e-cig items, but fasttech always put "tools/toys" or "electronic components" or suchlike on the customs declaration label, with a very low value, never e-cig kit

I liked the vv/vw bit. Always try to get that if I can. Gives it more oomph. Plus I've never worked out how to use a kick in mech mods though these aren't them! Like the look of the spider

Like the look of the spider Agreed, VV/VW all the way Spider/Sidewinder looks nice, but I still prefer my X6 batts, now in a range of colours at around $9, got this electric blue one for Mrs G-J:- www.fasttech.com/products/1741305

I've been having dry hits while using my Vision Spinner batteries at 4.3 volts. I'm using 1.5 ohm coils in my Kanger Protank Mini 3. Is the voltage too high for the coils in my Kanger Protank Mini 3? Would it be better if I stuck to higher ohm coils if I want to use my Vision Spinner batteries? Spinners are brilliant, you are fine with those. I use between 1.8 ohm and 2.2 ohm coils, I never set the spinner above 4v though. The reason you are getting dry hits and burnt is because you are setting at 4.3, turning it down to 3.8 everything will taste much nicer. If you want more throat hit get a juice higher in pg, if you want more clouds get a juice high er in VG. The heads and coils you have are fine for your spinner though. Also how often do you replace the coil? This can make it taste burnt, I change mine ever 2 days, but I use dessert liquids, tobacco you will get longer

I'm going to get those Tesla Sidewinder batteries for a certain holiday season around December 25th . I need 3 of them as I have 3 of the Kanger Protank Mini 3's. I am going to get them from e-cigarette stores in North America. I have a bad feeling that if I get them from Fast Tech, they will be seized by Canada Customs.

Snaggletooth I like most on here have used Fasttech for 2 years. In the main they are an excellent company and although clones I have had no problem with their vamo, spinners etc. I do recoil their clearo's though. Why not order one of your choice from them as a tester? I never order a large order, if I need 4/5 things I will order them separately. That way customs never seem to be a problem. Postage for me at the moment is really good, everything arriving within 2 weeks. Obviously with Xmas fast approaching now would be a good time to order one though. Enjoy our wonderful forum though whatever you choose to do.
