Hiya snaggletooth75 and from me too. You can get a small version of the AFC (v2 is best) for the Mini Protanks, not sure where in Canada you can buy them but you can buy them from HERE in UK.

Thank you to everyone for the warm welcome to this awesome e-cigarette forum. Right now I am using 1.5 ohms coils in my Kanger Protank Mini 3. The main e-cigarette batteries I use are as follows, 3 Ego 1000mAh in Red, Blue and Black, Evod 1000mAh in Red, Blue and Black. My newest batteries are the Vision Spinner 1300mAh in Rainbow colour. The reason I colour coded my batteries is to match the colours I have for my Kanger Protank Mini 3 which is Red for Marlboro, Blue for Camel and Black for Export A. Those e-liquids I mentioned are my favourite e-liquid flavours. I don't know if you know this but Export A is a cigarette available in Canada. Does anyone else do this, I love to do lung hits when I Vape. I tend to get more vapor when I lung hit than if I do the traditional mouth to lung hits. Since I am using 1.5 ohm coils in my Kanger Protank Mini 3, right now I am using 4.3 volts on my Vision Spinner batteries. Does that sound safe or is the voltage too high for the coils I am using? Once again I want to say thank you for the very warm welcome, you guys f*cking kick ass!!

I purchased 3 of Airflow Controller for Aerotank Mini for my Kanger Protank Mini 3's from Sweet Vapes . I would recommend that you buy this product from Sweet Vapes because I bought this product from Sweet Vapes and I received them 6 days later. I live in Canada and it took 6 days for delivery from the United States to Canada. They really work great, with this product I get a better draw when I take a drag. I also get better vapor production and better flavour from my e-liquids than with the stock Protank Mini 3 base. The Airflow Controller for Aerotank Mini is worth the $6.95 asking price. If you want better vapor production and an easier draw, not to mention way better flavour from your favourite e-liquids purchase this product from Sweet Vapes.
Does anyone here know where I can get the Kanger Unicoil in Canada ? I saw the review that Soulvapes did on his YouTube channel. Is the Kanger Unicoil only available in the UK? If yes is it better than the Updated Dual Coil from Kanger? Would the Kanger Unicoil work in the Kanger Protank Mini 3? Is it possible to rebuild the coils in the Kanger Protank Mini 3?
I'm sorry for all the questions but as you can tell I am a newbie still when it comes to e-cigarettes. Thank you for all of your help with my e-cigarette queries, I really appreciate it. This forum kicks ass and it is the best forum for e-cigarettes. /font]

I'm going to have to get new coils for my Kanger Protank Mini 3. Right now I am using 1.5 ohm coils. I heard that the lower the ohms the more vapor is produced. Is that true or is it bunk? Ever since I started using the Kanger Aerotank Mini Airflow Control Valve I've been having a burnt taste once in awhile when I take a drag. Does that mean that I'm using a too low ohm coils? If that's the case what coils should I be using? From what I saw on the Sweet Vapes website, the 2.0 ohm coils have been discontinued and been replaced with the 1.8 ohm coils. They have some of the 2.0 ohm coils left in stock, should I buy the 2.0 ohm coils or get the 1.8 ohm coils?

Hi there to my fellow e-cigarette vapers,
I have a question, has anyone else here seen the Kanger Subohm Coils? The Kanger Subohm Coils come in 1.0 ohm and 0.8 ohm. Would these coils work in my Kanger Protank Mini 3? Right now I'm using the 1.5 ohm coils in all 3 of my Kanger Protank Mini 3. Would the Kanger Subohm Coils be safe to use in the Kanger Protank Mini 3?

It depends what you're using them on. An ego battery (obviously) won't be able to provide the power to drive coils as low as this, but a vamo set at 15watts would. Same old same old, these things will deliver so long as you have the power to drive them.
An ego battery would be fine as low as 1.5 ohms, a spinner or VV maybe at 1.0. But we're talking about sub-ohming here? (the 0.8)
As an aside the 0.8s would be wicked on a mech mod, we're talking 20watts of vaping goodness.
All I advise is give it a go. If it's lacking you need a better mod. If it burns the juice you want to go back up to the 1.5s or even 1.8s.

What batteries would you recommend I use? I have 3 Vision Spinner batteries at 1300 mah each. I also have 3 Vapourstix variable voltage batteries at 650 mah each. Would the Innokin Itaste Clk batteries work? I can't afford those Mechanical Mods, they're just too expensive for me. I'm on a disability pension for 2 back conditions, Spinal Stenosis and Degenerative Disc Disease.

Not 100% sure on the spinners, but the clk will only fire a coil down to 1.2 ohms. You really will have to spend a little if you want to go with the 1.0 or 0.8 heads. tbh I think you should stay where you are with the 1.2/1.5 coils unless you really feel unhappy with the vape you're already getting.
One problem you may come across using the 1.2s is tolerance. There will be some difference between two 1.2 ohm coils. If the resistance is slightly below the design then the clk won't fire it.

I've been having dry hits while using my Vision Spinner batteries at 4.3 volts. I'm using 1.5 ohm coils in my Kanger Protank Mini 3. Is the voltage too high for the coils in my Kanger Protank Mini 3? Would it be better if I stuck to higher ohm coils if I want to use my Vision Spinner batteries?

Don't the vv and vw devices have a cut-out on the 1.2 ohm

4.3 isn't the minimum on the spinner is it? if not then turn it down, if it is then yeah a higher ohm coil is the answer it all depends on a lot of things, type of juice, pg/vg ratio, mech or vv, batt charge, wick material, time between drags, etc etc I'm not sure on re wicking the mini Protanks but the normal size ones are easy to do, may be something to consider?
