Mephisto Clone

I first tried a igo w, couldn't get on with it, had the store drill out the airholes larger and still couldn't get on with it. Fast forward maybe a month I decided to try a dripper again, this time the igo w7, which i'm loving. While I'm loving the w7 I keep seeing nice looking rda's around and have seen the mephisto clone by ivogo, it seems cheap enough, looks good internally and looks great outside too.

So my question is has anyone tried these, or is there a different rda you'd reccomend? Also i'm wondering would this be on the same level as the w7 or be a upgrade or downgrade from it?

Think you meant rda? There's a lot of love for the magma www.fasttech.com/product/1718100-magma-style-rebuildable-dripping-atomizer nice deep juice well and well built. Robby has a good review of it on here

Haven't got the mephisto, but I can vouch for the magma, you can get a good session from what it holds and lots of flavour and vapour. Its my favourite dripper now.

the mephisto is a great dripper, i bought one with the black airflow to match my Stingray, very easy to build on and i love the cyclops airflow.

Used it almost constantly for about a month until my slowboat Plumeveils turned up

now its sat on my vape stand with the rest of my previous favourites

Would not think of getting rid of it, and ive gave away to friends a lot of drippers

The whole rda thing really depends what you're after, like more for higher ohms and flavour, lower ohms and clouds or both. They can vary quite a bit and sometimes need different types of builds to get the most out of them I find.

My current favourite is a tobh with the air holes modified and sitting around the 0.08ohm mark, the vape is gorgeous, big clouds and bucketfuls of flavour but it's been a learning process to get to this stage. Other rda's are total flavour machines right off the bat but not so much good for making big clouds of fun.

I got the mephisto, so far I like it a tad more than my w7. Its running dual coils 8wraps 0.30 kanthal a1 wrapped on a 14g needle. Not sure why but it seemed to jump about on my ohm meter, when coiled and wicked it was 1.4ohm but I just gave the post screws a retighten and put it on to check and it says 1.07. The build doesnt look as good as the w7's so I figure that could be contributing to the miniscule difference.
I think i'll recoil tomorrow single coil double strand twisted, 8wraps on the 14g and see if I prefere the single coil.

Given its only performing slightly better that the w7 right now Im thinking I should have gone for the plumeveil clone that was a couple pound extra, I just loved the look o the mephisto too much.
