I like my efest luc V4, being able to see what volts are in my batteries is a definite plus for me as I get through a few because use higher watts and good to check which batteries are full.
That said, it does under charge slightly, 4.13-4.14 volts, which doesn't bother me. Others won't recommend this charger as some over charge.
I'm thinking of getting a nitecore i4 for home as seem to be good for the money from various threads I've read, or maybe a d4.

I've just bought a nitecore i4 cause my Efest Luc was only working on one side so I kept running out of charged batteries. So far I'm very pleased with my new purchase. I think the 4 ports will be really handy

Once you get something to tide you over, I'd be contacting the supplier for a replacement! I love my i4, and if and when I need to replace it, I think I'll be going for a d4. Go 4 bay. If you only want to charge 2, you can. But you can never charge 4 in a 2 bay. (+ i2 charges at 500ma. i4 charges 2 at 750ma!)

What is the input voltage? And I don't think it would be safe to charge a battery at 2a. ronaldo????

If there is a problem, the “sale of goods act“ is your friend.
It can reasonably be expected for a charger to last more than 4 months!

Don't quote me but I'm sure Nitecore's chargers carry a 12 month warranty. So exchange or refund from the vendor is a good start.
My D4 does, but I bought it direct from AJC (Nitecore UK)

Even if charging at 2a is safe, surely it will put a lot more stress on the battery than charging at 0.5a or 0.75a?

Don't want you to be stuck without a charger but as has been said above yours should still be under warranty. Hope you get it swapped for a new one at the shop.
