buggritt's right - I've been on 11 flights this year and only once was even asked about it, and that was on the way to Greece with batteries, mods and atties for both me and Mr Lairey in my hand luggage. Once he knew why I had so many batteries, he was cool and quite interested. You can't put batteries in your hold luggage anyway though. The only thing that goes in my suitcase is juice, other than that, I had 2 x MVPs, 4 x iTaste vv3s, a coolfire 1, a provari and a zmax, with about 10 x 18350s and 4 x 18500s.

Yep. The only thing to cause a mini fuss at the security check was my tiddly little screwdriver. I kept a straight face throughout. Plus, on a plane coming back from Spain, the airport guys were all over my kit, just interested and asking where I got my mods. A fellow passenger, lady, having seen all this sat behind me and asked me not to use it on the flight . It was in the overhead compartment at the time. I told her I had no intention of using it, and could she kindly refrain from taking a poo in the aisle.

Batteries need to be in hand luggage. If you take liquid in hand luggage then you need to treat it the same way as any other liquids. Apart from what I would need for the journey I would pack the liquids in my suitcase.

You're quite right Karma. I usually travel the blokes way, hand luggage only, so got confused.

Any help appreciated Grandad Grandad, I am currently in warmer climes. In my hand luggage I put 4 ego batteries plus 2 spinners. I charged each one up in case I was asked to turn them on at security. I wrapped each one individually in paper towel so no metal could contact, and I popped them all lined up in a camera case. They went through the scanner with no questions. My coils I put 50 In my hand luggage in a makeup bag. My juice I put 8 30ml bottles in a clear zip lock bag and put them through on their own, not an eyelid was batted. I also had juice and coils in my suitcase just in case. My tanks I cleaned out and wrapped in tissue. I took an enjoy with me, just because that is the easiest thing a disposable to have a sneaky vape on. One thing though, the juice empty some out of the bottle , I have found a few times now that hand luggage ones do not leak, but suitcase ones do, so pop them in a container incase

I just came back from Spain, took my Stingray/Veritas combo, a couple of vtc5's, some pre-made coils and a little screwdriver, and no one batted an eye at it.. the security lady in spain on the way home asked what it was, but just shrugged her shoulders when I said e-cig and waved me through. As others have mentioned, e liquid in the clear plastic bag if you taking it in hand luggage. And they don't like screwdrivers or tools much, but with your kit you shouldn't need any.

Grandad one way to stop juice leaking from bottles is to put cling film over the bottle before you insert dropper then put the lid on i did this when i went to Crete in June & none of mine leaked, however i used the MVP in the airport but forgot to take the clearo off for the flight & the clearo leaked on to my battery.

really on my first flight in 10 years I put 2 batteries (for the day) in hand - rest in hold. My 100ml of e-liquid in medicine bottles in ziplock bags (from ebay) in the hold My dry burning kit (magneto) in hold.... only my syringe needle and scissors got nabbed on the way back (and they were in the hold) but then Ronaldsway security almost nabbed my VTR off me. Vape fine in manchester airport (I asked the chap in Boots where I could vape. He saved my brain cells ). Smoking shelter at Aberdeen even departure side. No vaping departure side of Ronaldsway. Apparently fine to vape in most airports in Spain (don't quote me on it though) Hope that helps

All batteries should be in carry on luggage. You won't have any trouble at all so take what you want with you and just enjoy your holiday. As previously mentioned make sure they are all charged up incase your asked to fire them up ( not likely though) I came back a couple of days ago and no one bothered. Then switch them off and they will go safely through the scanner and your done.
