Just thought I'd chip in here because I'm very, very cross with my taste buds today! Loaded up a couple of carto's this morning with my fave Drum flavour (new cartos too) and they tasted bloody revolting! So when I got back from work I got a fresh atti and dd'ed some, tasted burnt and foul too!
I've just got a fresh carto and loaded it up with of a different flavour and I can taste it but only just. Yesterday everything tasted groovy and I was happy, today everything tastes manky and I'm desperate for a nice vape!

I often have problems with taste and occasionally I also find the throat hit a bit too much even though I'm using familiar juices. I have no explanation but the 'problem' seems to fix itself pretty quickly. It IS odd. Fox

A big tip from me as a none menthol smoker , is to try menthol juice when you get manky flavoured tobac juices menthol refreshes your mouth and in my opinion allows your buds to readjust , I have heard others say that cleaning teeth helps also , i.e. toothpaste is usually a menthol type flavour

Biff and Josie if you take a look you are both at about the 3 to 4 week stage when your taste buds go freaky for a day or two... only thing you can taste at this point is menthol but rest assured within a few days all will be back to normal and most likely better than ever

I never saw it that way, yes we are both at the same stage and this would explain why my peachy menthol and very sweet ones taste nice, just done a drip with the peachy menthol and it is really nice! Funny how your taste buds go at around 3 to 4 weeks stopping smoking. Funny i used to hate menthol cigs, like smoking a polo! but the peachy ones, quite peachy funny enough Something else ive noticed is i have very vivid dreams especially this week, i am a month on monday no cigs, this must how long it takes the crap to leave your body. Just looking at your signature 1638 cigs avoided, wow!

your dreams could be the nicotine stimulating you late at night ...or your body adjusting ...it'll all calm down soon... i just did a calc and 1638 ciggys is over £500 worth ... i love seeing it that way LOL

bloody nora thats a hell of a saving! I do seem to chain vape more at night especially when on the forum , though saying that I have been, (though not tonight ) using zero. I know ive gone through the cramps and headaches-they are terrible just the thought of having to go through them again, stops me smoking! but wow over £500, no wonder the government wants them banned, think of all the taxes they would lose!

my vaping bill is disgusting, so much so that I don't want to think about it, especially as I am still after a few bits and bobs But it has been so worth it, having a nice Pv is a bit like having a nice fancy lighter :-)

Something else ive noticed is i have very vivid dreams especially this week, i am a month on monday no cigs, this must how long it takes the crap to leave your body. I had exactly the same thing at about the same stage - I remember one where I was actually vaping and my PV turned into a lit cigar! The mind does weird things sometimes. Like Gordy says, you settle down eventually.

I've got a bit more taste today, I've tried to drink more water (don't know if that'll help lol) as all I drink is tea all day! Also, I must mention that since moving on to vaping I too have had more vivid dreams, or is it just that I can remember them now all the crap is out of my body?

Pleased to hear you've had more taste Biff . . . I know I got real indigestion when I first started vaping, something I never suffer from . . . it does all settle down though given time.
