well for me today....it's a beautiful day outside, I took the dog in the campervan for a walk round the nearest reservoir, then had a sit and coffee and watched the geese, came back, sent some stuff off to others, including vanillin to sons GF, came home, hung washing out in the sunshine and just spent a fun time mixing. I feel incredibly lucky, happy and peaceful with life today....tomorrow may be different but for today, just right now, aren't i so very lucky. Doesn't take much for me......

The one day I have terrible headache(today) is the day when my little one refuse to have afternoon nap and moan for everything. But yes,we kinda forget to be happy about small things, that we healthy, have home,so many things we take for granted. Enjoy your day sleedale

Hope you feel better PinkyPuff, it's very hard when you have a little one and don't feel well. Thank you for the beautiful hearts and message. Off to cut the grass soon, at least it's warm and dry.

sleedale today is a nice day, i agree. The sun is out Dogs got walked, or rather swam, messed about, chased, played and had a good time. The spaniel one then took me to the pub, where i stayed until he was ready to go (he gets lots of attention) Now it is nearly 3pm, soon be time to feed them again and then go out and get dirty, and swim some more. I like my days off work, get to do important stuff like playing with dogs and going to the pub, and around here you can do both at the same time.........ahhhhhhhh bliss

No ronaldo not Haworth moor, although I do know it......brought up in Dewsbury, lived and worked a long time in Bradford (queensbury) but now lucky to live just outside Masham, so walk round Thornton Steward reservoir. It's a lovely place, the dog loves it and it's good to sit with the campervan, make coffee and watch not much going on. The sun is still out in patches here, grass cut, nearly time for the dog walk again. spaniel I'm lucky enough to have retired early from teaching 3 years ago.....means we are permanently skint, OH works in care! And I do some very part time cleaning, but most of the days are mine to do with as I please. Like I said......lucky and I'd have to agree....dog walking is the very best of important things to do on a day off, especially if you can combine it with a pint or two, not possible where I live, nowt for three miles but fields n sheep. However, Masham does have two very good breweries

+1 for Black Sheep ronaldo on draught in my local, i'm sure i keep them in business Along with Waggle Dance a very nice honey beer, but my favourite draught at the local is Speckled Hen i've had a couple today in fact. No doubt the fluffy one will drag me there later for a couple more i like being off work for 4 days, Mrs S however is not so keen she don't drink or vape so i have to do my bit for the pair of us
