So I bought one to go with my new Kanger thing... Blowed if I can get the thing to adjust in any way , shape or form.... The tank works better without it. I am obviously a fool, but I would really like you to assure me that it isn't terminal... Thwarted in Southampton. myepack.co.uk/accessories/kanger-airflow-control-valv

When I click on your supplied link. I get this: Whoops, our bad... .The page you requested was not found, and we have a fine guess why.

If it's one of those thingies that screw on to the bottom of Protanks to make them Aerotankish, the centre wheel can be devilishly difficult to turn. Try wearing rubber gloves to get a better grip.

Bought 3 of these from that supplier. They are all pretty stiff to turn. Rubber gloves help. Hubby uses on his anyvape davide and I use on my spare kangers. Found them to give a much better vape than without.

Thanks OliverB, niccyleib.. @zero, I have already confessed to being a fool. Not sure that you need to give me empirical truth...

If you still find you can't turn it, email supplier and ask for either a return and refund or exchange. Could be you got unlucky and recieved a defected one.

lynwlt the knurled wheel is reverse threaded, ie to loosen the draw wind clockwise.

Right, this is the link you mean isn't it LINK I use these all the time and there is a knack to turning them, but once you got them to the right position they don't turn in your pocket like the V1's used to. My knack for moving the airflow is this : - Screw the airflow controller ( with coil head ) into the tank ( for the sake of argument I'm going to say Protank 2 as that's what I use ) and screw it on quite tight. Then grab the bottom metal section of the Protank 2 in your right hand then using the thumb nail on your left hand put it into one of the groves and gently move it round. The first time will be the hardest. If it still doesn't work then get two pairs of grips. The first pair on the bottom part of the main body ( e.g the bit that doesn't move and has graduations on it ) and the second pair on the thread at the top.To save you making marks all over the body over the air flow controller and ruining the thread as well , use a piece of rubber between the grips and the airflow controller. To loosen the air flow controller is exactly the same as a bolt , anti-clockwise to loosen , clockwise to tighten , OR Righty tighty , lefty loosey. This will loosen up the air control ring, but you only need to do it slightly, undo it a bit and try it again would be my advice. Any problems , then ask away. Andy
