Sorry to be a total bore but I'm flying to Malta this week from Luton. I haven't flown anywhere for about 7 years so I'm anxious about getting my stuff through security.
I plan to take two or three batteries and clearos and about 60ml of liquid.
Can someone talk me through what I need to do with everything?

I fly each month for work and haven't had any problems anywhere. Keep your batteries in your hand luggage. Juice goes in clear bags the same as any other liquid these days. Your clears might leak a bit if they are full but they can go in the bag with your juice.

As far as I know you just need to be open when going through security (mods, batteries, attys in tray) and make sure all liquids are bottled in permissible sizes or lower and you should be fine). Technically, e-cig batteries are no more dangerous on flights than laptop batteries (lots of laptop batteries are a set of 18650 or 18350 cells) so they power sources should not be an issue, and e liquids are not restricted except by the volume limit so no problems there. If any security guard gets pedantic, ask to see a supervisor immediately so you don't miss your flight, and if they try to dely you then just ask them to state the rule or law they are delaying you under.
But honestly, they have no reason to hold you or your gear, and I haven't heard of it happening in the UK.

I almost had it in Ronaldsway (Isle of Man) on the way back from holidays I took - 100ml of liquid - in medicine bottles (cos that what I put my mixed liquids in) - in ziplock bags (they still leaked) - gotten off ebay Batteries (bar two for the day) - in hold plus spare magneto (for dry burning) Tools for rewicking - in hold (ronaldsway still took my needle off me ) VTR and stuff for the day in hand luggage No probs at Aberdeen Only some airllines are fussy about lithium batteries. That's about the worst of it:) PS....tell all the staff when you get to Luton you haven't flown in 7 years (mine was about 10) and they will be so nice and reassuring and you will wonder what you were stressed out about

Please don't EVER put batteries in your hold luggage, they are on the forbidden list. They will be fine in your hand luggage. Juices either in a clear plastic bag in your hand luggage, along with any tanks that have juice in, or they are fine in the hold, but are prone to leak, so wrapped well.
