Hi,
I recoiled a Kanger atomizer yesterday. I followed Shineys tutorial and used .25 wire, 11 wraps around a 1.5mm mandrel. The only thing I didn't do was blowtorch the coil together at the end so the coils are a little looser?
It fires OK in my VTR but on my Spinner II the light just flashes 5 times and won't fire.
What could I have done wrong? Is it not blowtorching it at the end?? Thanks!

Have you tried unscrewing it a bit from the spinner see if it fires then?

That is fine thebatfink turn the spinner off and gently tease up the centre pin where you attach the atty, you can use a small screwdriver etc. This can get pushed down by over tightening and hence makes no contact.

This probably won't help but:
If the atty is open cicuit the button will just light as normal. A short will switch it off.

Could also be that you may not have trimmed the excess wire right back to the housing or grommet pin, even with a slightest amount protuding it could be touching something to give a short.
