So I received the purple efests the other day I'm currently using them in my VTR. My old Efest Red 2100mah from a full charge be at least yellow by the end of the day and occasionally flickering into the red. I've now had one of the purples in all yesterday and today and its still indicating green so whether the batteries really are 3100mah I don't know, but they definitely have more juice than my 2100mah.
Just thought I would update with some real life usage incase anyone else is looking at these batteries. For info I vape 2.1 ohm iclear30s tanks at 11.5 fixed watts with it.

So as long as I work out the amps with the ohms and watts and keep under the 20amp limit of the efests then they are good to go?
Regarding the efest rewrapping - I thought Torchy tests those batteries and only sells 'decent' batteries?

But will the efests have problems? Should we use protected batteries when they are in series?

Thanks for the advice. Yes one of these heads is showing as 1.6 ohm so I'll switch to the variable wattage and try again. I was kinda shocked because the iclear was head and shoulders my favourite of the tanks I've brought to try as well. 2.1 in the future!
Wonder if its possible I burnt the wick or something then at 5.8 volts and its not wicking well anymore? If I tip it upside down so the juice gets all around the top, I get a much better couple of vapes.

Normally run the iclear at 5.8 volt. I've tried going down to 3 volt and in between but still flavorless hits after a couple of pulls that feel a bit dry / harsh.

Hi,
I've been using a Kanger Aerotank and an iClear 30s which came with my VTR for the past couple of weeks. I've really been impressed with the iclear. I find it gives the best clouds and taste of the two. So based on this I just ordered 2 more tanks and 2 replacement heads for the iclears.
I've setup my old tank with a new head and also filled one of the new tanks with a different juice. But I am finding with both tanks, the first hit is fine, tastes good and plenty of cloud.. but the subsequent hits whilst still have cloud, do not taste right, almost burnt and with no flavor from the juice at all. Is this what is called a dry hit?
Whats bugging me is how can it go from my favorite tank to this? Am I doing something wrong? Are you supposed to do something with a new iclear head before using it?
For info I am using my usual juice I was using before (same bottles!) and both are 50/50. I guess it's almost like after the first hit the juice isn't wicking, but yesterday with the old head I had none of these problems?! Any ideas?

Hi,
I recoiled a Kanger atomizer yesterday. I followed Shineys tutorial and used .25 wire, 11 wraps around a 1.5mm mandrel. The only thing I didn't do was blowtorch the coil together at the end so the coils are a little looser?
It fires OK in my VTR but on my Spinner II the light just flashes 5 times and won't fire.
What could I have done wrong? Is it not blowtorching it at the end?? Thanks!

I don't vape inside restaurants/pubs etc. I don't vape in people's houses. I don't vape around kids or when people are eating etc. The only exception is I do vape in my house. And I would never smoke on the house. Exactly the same here. When I'm at work I tend to go sneaky vape in the toilets, mainly so I don't have to stand outside with the smokers for fear of relapsing back to the cigarettes. It seems like an eon ago we were allowed to smoke indoors in public places, but even where I do see people vaping in the pub, I don't do it. I'm sure alot of places don't know what to do about it so just let them get on with it. But I'm 100% there will be a ban indoors incoming though so best not to get used to being able to do it. As far as others wanting to smoke. After two days back vaping I couldn't stand the smell again. I would never give them any hassle about it though. Bit hypocritical in my book! Smoking in a restaurant.. :/ why would you anyway!? I'm more surprised they still allow it.

Hmm. I mixed some of this and I swear it doesn't taste of anything at all. I got my PA RY4 Asian from Chefsvapour. Is your concentrate perfectly clear?

I guess once you have settled on a liquid you like, that becomes pretty easy with staggering your mixing. Hard when just starting out! Might have to get a months supply of something else in for the time being. Really hoping it's something I like vaping so I can just start producing. I love a bit of custard though so fingers crossed lol
