Tbh if you spending 80-100 I'd get one of these www.tesco.com/direct/hudl/We got one for my nipper 9 years old and autistic, she's heavy handed clumsy mucky its been dropped, banged covered in dinner on more than 1 occasion and still going strong. Works bloody good for net browsing Facebook/eBay etc pretty good for Netflix as well. Great for little game like angry birds. It is slow to load when you first turn it on boot time 2-3 mins nexus 7 - 45 secs boot but then your talking nearely 3 times the price All in all the hurl is a bloody good tablet and tesco will swap imidiatly if there is an issue. My sister had 1 and the update from android went screwey phoned tesco next day she had a new 1 delivered to the door.

I use the hudl and just got one for youngest (11) reliable, easy to use, not too shabby a price. Only drawback for me is you can't print off them but I think that's generic

Hudl is good but I've found the battery life after about 8 months use is declining. Have to charge every 5 hours or so. You can't replace the battery.

+1 for the tesco hudl. No battery problems with mine! Plugs into TV, so can watch all my media in the bedroom on a full size screen. As said, the return of them is not a bother -Im on my third one! The software update has sorted the problems I had with the first 2, so I wouldn't have needed to return them! I've also got Linux running on it, as well as android. The price has just been dropped to £99, but it might be worth waiting a couple 0f weeks to see what the hudl 2 is like. Not sure if they're still doing the 'double up your club card points'? I paid £60 for mine along with £30 club card points. Very easy to disable all the tesco bloatware (not much of it anyway), leaving you with stock android. Personally, I wouldn't buy a tablet from a website that also sells a Thrush Treatment Triple Pack! It seems they might be flogging stuff that no one else can shift?

Avoid unbranded Android tablets like the plague - under spec'd and unreliable. And if you really must might as well go straight to the source and pick something up from FT - if nothing else you'll be paying less for a piece of junk.
On a more helpful note another shout out for the Hudl which is a lovely piece of kit for the money - bought my MiL one for Xmas and she loves it.
The new amazon Fire HD6 and 7 look worth a look at price points of £79 and £119 respectively

I thank you all for your comments and suggestions. Sorry about the late reply. Had a few days away on the East Yorks coast. I note there are a lot of Hudl fans. ......I'll have to have a close look at them. Anyway...thanks again.
