Seems like you've been given some great advice @letsavit. Welcome by the way I would agree with Perpetua and for starters stick with 10ml size juices as your tastes will change (also unless you can try them first some sound lovely but taste like poo ! LOL) All mine are 10ml's apart from the Red Astaire which I went for a 30ml in the end coz that stuff is just gorgeous ! Just hit the 4 month mark myself (with OH) and have saved a fair bit .. also spent a fair bit but no where near as much as I was on smoking and I have some nice shiney stuff to show for my pennies Might be spending some more today as OH broke his plastic tip at work this week and doesn't like the metal ones so it means another trip to the vape shop this afternoon when he's finished work. I wonder if he does this on purpose as he's getting as bad as me buying vaping stuff and I think perhaps this could just be an excuse to go shopping for more shiney things ?? Anyway I hope what ever you get helps you off the smelly things

1no. iTaste VTR Steel V2 Optional Extras 2 x Efest IMR 18650 V2 2000 mah batteries Nitecore i2 Intelligent Charger 50. iClear 30s Dual Coil Head 2.1 ohm £1.75 £8.75 2no. iTaste VV V3.0 Pearl Chrome About £150 Nearly there? Other than juices? Hi @letsavit welcome to the mad house
Your no1 choice is the same as what I got when I wanted something better than my ego starter kit(which I was using for 2 weeks) and what a difference it made. I have been using the VTR, batteries and charger for 5 months and it all still works as good as it did when I bought it. The iclear 30s that comes with the VTR is a good tank, but after trying a few others I settled on the Aerotank which you can get in the latest version v2 For tanks to fit in the VTR they must be 19mm diameter or less, the mini tanks would be on the small side so I would get the standard size, not the mega(to wide). I would try the iclear 30s and maybe later you can try a few other tanks like the protank3 or the aerotank to see for yourself.
The batteries you have chosen are fine for the VTR. I bought 2 of them and I use them exclusively in my VTR and SVD I now have other Mods and batteries that handle more power, but I still use the Efest IMR 18650 V2 2000's in my 15watt mods and keep the higher rated batteries for using in my power mods.
Edit: The airflow that has been mentioned is by prr is this one There are many other airflow controlers that are not the same thing as this and vape escape is the place to get this. It does work to protect the threads from stripping on the VTR. gill2009 has one on her VTR in the pic above and I have one on mine in the pic below

Expect some dumb questions in the week when I set it all up...! No such thing as a dumb question @letsavit - we were all in your shoes once. Just ask away.

Welcome LETSAVIT I started vaping nearly 3 months ago - started with the EVOD 2 which has been great and I can't imagine smoking a stinkie again. I do find that I am filling my tank quite often and have been looking at the ones with the bigger tanks.....mods.....mvp.....vamo's but fing I am really confused. Is there a link on the site where there are pictures of what is what, not to much detail but to give us newbies an idea. Welcome again

Hi again, got all my gear, steeping the juices ( taking top off and shaking every now and again) anyway a few questions before I start;
The the I taste v.30 has a 510 connection yes? Does the spinner with a higher battery use this also.
I have noticed the VTR has a smaller connection, what code/is this called as I want to buy and an adapter to swap the clearimisers user between the two?
Any standard benchmark settings for the watt/volts to start with, 30 a day smoker if that makes a difference.
Thanks.

I prefer to leave tops on and just tuck bottles away in a cupboard or drawer for a couple of weeks - though that depends on the flavours you've chosen @letsavit. Some don't need as long. The Spinner has a 510 and a Ego connection, which is the outer set of threads . . . . your VTR is a 510, just the inner set of threads. Start low maybe 6/7watts or 3.8volts, is my suggestion and then work up until you find what works for you and the eliquid you're using.

Any standard benchmark settings for the watt/volts to start with, 30 a day smoker if that makes a difference. Thanks. As said above, the VTR is a 510 only connection, and the v3 has a 510 on the inside and Ego on the outside. All the mini size tanks come with the Ego thread and once you go up a size(standard/Mega etc) they will come with the 510 thread.
If you want to put a mini tank on the VTR you will need a 510/Ego-510 adapter and the look like this
Did you not like the iclear 30s that came with the VTR?
If not you could get an aerotank or a protank3 or a nautilus for it. Don't get the Mega tanks, they will be to big.
The devices you have work in voltage mode or wattage mode so you only need to choose which mode you are going to use and then set it. Wattage mode is the easiest to set up. I would try around the 7-8 watt setting and if you want more vapour turn it up a bit. Around 10 watts it will probably start tasting like its burning. It can vary depending on tank and coil used.

Thanks, haven't tried anything yet, just set it up and charged the batteries. The i clear30 looks fine, my thinking is I'll use the VTR while working(sitting at my desk at home) for the 10 hours a day! Then if I have some juice in the I clear30 I can put it on the V.30 when I go out. It fits but there's a gap, is this when a "beauty ring" I have read about is required?
so if I start with 7 watts and adjust the watts only the voltage is non applicable?
