If it were me starting now, I'd get... 1 VTR. 2 iclear 30s. 5 replacement heads. 3x18650s (1 in vtr, 1 spare, 1 charging, but i do travel a lot, 2 would prob do for most). 1 double charger. I'd go to a bricks and mortar shop to try a load of different juices, get 3x10ml of juices I liked, then order some sample packs from SmokeRainbow to get a really good idea of what I wanted.

Heyas and welcome. Great advice so far. I personally would ditch the efest and get the sonys vtc5 The vtr is a very good solid device. Have a look on virtual Vape for the unicoil atty head will improve your Vape even more.

If you want to go down the VTR route (and be warned, it is a big heavy beast!) then you may want something a bit more chunky in the way of a tank rather than the Mini Protanks which will need filling every whip 'n' snip. I've never used them but can someone with a VTR confirm that something like a Nautilus or similar would fit without the extension piece? You might want to also consider the MVP2 which has a good battery life and can be vaped whilst charging as it's what's called a 'passthrough'. There are also many tubular mods like the Vamo, SVD and the Evic to consider. All take 18650 batteries, so that part is interchangeable, and as they don't have the restriction on tank diameter that the VTR does, might give you more choice to experiment with. Oh, and welcome BTW!!

Tom, thanks for the reply. As I said, never even hefted a Nautilus, let alone vaped one, but wondered if there were other larger atties out there which would fit the VTR. Aerotank2 or the iClear30s are both good tanks though, and have a larger capacity so would mean more vaping and less filling and faffing!

Thanks.

wow... stuff is expensive when you need everything xD For starters... getting the vtr (comes with one iclear30s and spare head), get the batteries and charger, get some juice... that will keep you well occupied for at least a month and is all you need to get by. then we can go from there, you will have 90% of what you need and will be well on your way!

BTW I,m smoking £100 a week at the moment so budget not a problem (within reason) if it gets me off the fags. Horrendous cost now @letsavit and I thought £70+ a week 4 years ago was awful enough! When it comes to choosing your eliquid, I'd go for a selection of flavours in smaller (10ml ) sizes . . . and keep an open mind. Flavours you'd probably never dreamt of using, could become favourites, Chefs Vapour for example offer a selection pack at a good price: www.chefsvapour.co.uk/Main_Course/p1901058_9891744.aspxUse AAEC for a further 10% discount at checkout. I still favour choosing an MVP2 and a Itaste to use whilst it's charging . . . nothing against the VTR, but it is a big, heavy device which isn't always quite so convenient for out and about, plus you won't have the tank limitations with either of those two.
