Anyone know where I could get a new 510 connection for my vaporshark as the threading is starting to go in mine? Thanks Laurie

Either Vaporshark directly or greyhaze may or may not stock these , to have threads going on a device of this quality and newness I am sure the issue is with rough atty threads or your greatly over tightening attys on the device , hope you get your problem sorted out soon.

I would return it, there is no way the threads should be going faulty in that amount of time. Contact the seller on Ebay and if you do not get anywhere with the seller try putting a dispute through paypal. I am no expert at all that stuff, but it is certainly worth a try.

I think may could be a bit too long ago but don't quote me on that. Im not sure that vaporshark themselves give a long warranty, but I'll check it out.

Nope sorry only four month warranty from vaporshark so i dont think you will get very far with the vendor. You could try emailing them and asking if they would send you a new 510. Then maybe one of the nice mod guys on here would fit it for you. Just an idea

If the Vendor is in the UK then it is our Consumer Laws that cover it and the legality of a 4 month warranty is questionable based on our laws and would not stand up in court. Good luck with getting this sorted.

Given that the equipment is meant to have things attached to it frequently using said threads then they have to be fit for purpose. If they are faulty during the guarantee period in the UK our laws would cover it. The whole warranty thing with vaping equipment is a bit of a joke at the moment because we have vendors handing out warranty cards that cover 3 months for some MODs and legally they would loose if challenged.

vaporshark itself gives 120 days - how much this is legal or not - I don't know - however I would not start a legal claim for that amount of money
try it first with a nice email to vaporshark and see what they come back with

The whole warranty thing with vaping equipment is a bit of a joke at the moment because we have vendors handing out warranty cards that cover 3 months for some MODs and legally they would loose if challenged. The chances of a warranty covering a thread are pretty much nill unless its faulty straight from the box. 510`s are very fine , there quite easily diy fck`ed . A person could fck the threads in one day if they were clumsy enough . Screw on a poorly threaded cheap atty and you could kill them. No consumer law will help, You would have to prove the threads were faulty from the start (its not like there has been a flood of people moaning about failing threads on VS) Trading standards won`t help (they only advise on the law) so paying somewhere to test the quality of the threading and metal then taking the vender to small claims would be the only choice. The only hope is the vendor sending it back to VS for them to fix and hope VS do it out of good will and don`t charge. It seams odd VS can`t supply a replacement 510. Ive looked at all the packaging on my VS and no where can I see country of manufacture so chances are with no spares VS don`t make them just have them shipped in from China . I agree a 3 month warranty on things like the board , switches etc is pretty crap . a 3month warranty on those parts probably wouldn`t stand up in court but it would still take small claims to get that one sorted too.
