That actually looks lovely lairey.

My oh split a tooth in half and spent hours at the dentist today, so I did a similar thing.

Potato and leek soup , with green beans,( all cooked into oblivion), coriander, garlic and cumin by the bucket load.
It was a casserole dish of green sludge, but it tasted fab, and he was able to almost drink it.

I have just done another 2.5 kilo of overcooked ( pulpy ) veg , and have a cubboard of spices, so guess whats for supper, breakfast, and lunch

To get rid of the cold , boil up a huge pan of onions, and add stacks of garlic, and some stock ( gravy, packet soup, anything ).

I swear by it.

I boil it up in the biggest pan ever, it brought the oh half back from the brink so its the first thing I reach for now.

It may not be an ideal dinner but if it works who cares, boiled onions and garlic in copious amounts.

Honey as well, in tea, hot water, on bread, toast, crackers, straight from the jar any which way.

I also swear by malt - the kind you buy in a jar , 4 tablespoons a day.

Oh it has onions, garlic, shallots and leeks in it - your basic allium overload sammy13 & sleedale. I sent him to bed afterwards with hot lemon and honey and a couple of paracetamol. Hope he gets a better night's sleep, otherwise I will be heading to the spare room

Yep, last night was a real PITA, hence me clearing the clean washing off the spare bed earlier this evening... just in case!
