Chrissie - sorry I'm late to this party, but I just wanted to say how very lucky we are to have someone like you at our helm. Without your foresight and hard work we would none of us have met, either virtually or in real life. This forum is the best I have ever had the pleasure and honour of being part of, and it's all your fault brainwave 5 years ago today.

I have waited until after midnight because rightly 6th Oct was Chrissie day but now it has passed all members need to give themselves a pat on the back as this forum is here for you yes you the members and without you the members there would be no forum I just hope the forum doesn't change as it has the best members in the world on it and everyone of you deserves a mention so just keep doing what you do and we will grow from strength to strength

Spot on ronaldo, that is what this forum is ALL about, helping people and all credit to the mods for keeping it that way. All credit to the members as well, this isn`t a place for giving people a hard time as we`ve seen elsewhere with bullying, abuse etc. It`s as much a family as anything. Here, everyone talks to each other as if they were standing in front of them. No keyboard heroes here

Sorry I'm a bit late to the celebrations, won't go into detail why I couldn't post yesterday.

Chrissie I am so pleased you are blown over with all your new toys, it was a joy to contribute to someone who deserves recognition for all the hard work that you and your cronies moderators put into making this the absolute best forum on the whole of the world wide web

I bet you never thought it would grow this big eh. I personally feel more in touch with the UK now than I have ever felt since moving abroad, and although I have not yet met any members personally I feel I have so many more friends now than I ever had before, and I'm sure I will be meeting some of these friends whenever they decide to holiday on my little island

Ummm, we all need another forum Chrissie, one specifically for Shinyitus as this forum has a virus which tends to affect almost every member as soon as they've signed up, so if you can just start up another Shinyitus forum we can also celebrate that one in another 5 years time, but you wouldn't get any anniversary pressies coz we'd all be bankrupt

All joking aside, so much for this absolutely wonderful, marvellous, magical, spectacular forum, and enjoy your new toys.

Just over 3 years on the forum for me.i dont get on as often as i would like but its the only forum that i have had a laugh and met many many super people.
