Must haves in your mixing cupboard

I have got my first lot of concentrates and just waiting for the nic base and pg before I can get started 

I was thinking what are everyones must have things (not necessarily flavours as that is more personal preference) such as MTS vape wizard, koolada, menthol etc which you would recommend for newbies to have in stock?

I don’t want to get loads of stuff straight away but was looking to build up the stores with each order to get the “essentials” that people can’t live without.

Be interesting to see if there is a consensus or not

Some sort of sweetener and koolada. Make your own menthol. A tub of menthol crystals from chemist half fill 10ml bottle then top up with pg. microwave 2secs and shake until dissolved. Use this as a concentrate start at no more than 1% then add more as needed. These just for a start then it depends on what type of juice you like whether it's fruits, desserts or something else hope this helps. I personally only vape fruits and tend not to add anything else.

I've got Koolada, MTS & vanillin, and only ever used the vanillin, and that was in the CLC recipe, had no need for the others as yet.

It depends really on what you are creating, and if you're following a recipe

Beau Strawberry concentrate. It's the best strawberry flavouring I've found. I have to use 50% more of the Cup Cake World strawberry to get the same strength.

I mix for my son and he vapes strawberry everything. Strawberry Ice Cream, Strawberries & Cream, Strawberry & Elderflower, Strawberry & menthol etc. He can tell if I have used another strawberry concentrate when my local Cake Craft shop have been out of stock.

VG from boots and Vodka to thin it down, selection of bottles, mixing pots and syringes for measuring, if mixing menthols you really need separate ones for this as they may taint your other flavours good luck. Don't forget your sticky labels so you know whats in your bottle

Thanks all, my nic, pg, syringes and bottles have now arrived so I now have everything I need to make 7 recipes woo hoo.

I have got vanillin and sweetener, I will get some menthol crystals tomorrow to make my own and I have my notebook and sticky labels to hand.

I think I will have a cuppa and then get started

More atomisers to try the flavours and keep the ones you like ready to vape, then when you have more atomisers you need rebuildables so easier to swap flavours in an atomiser, then because so many more atomisers you need more mods to screw them on, then more batteries for the mods, then coloured drip dips to identify flavours in atomisers, its a never ending spiral of more and more stuff from now on. Next you will need mod stands and makeup holders for all the flavoured juice bottles,...the list just gets bigger and bigger and bigger. You then need a bigger table to store them all and work with the stuff you have collected, next a shelf on the wall and a storage cupboard, dining room or kitchen gets a bit full of stuff so you start planing an extension. Many relocate to a new garden shed purpose built, some and others move to larger house but sadly some fall by the wayside and cannot take the pressure ending up selling stuff on the classified. You have been warned!
However flavouritus is not nearly as severe as shinyitus. Shinyitus which is very serious can be cured, flavouritus although much less severe cannot be cured.


Have fun with your flavours and recipes, it really is satisfying when you get the final recipe just right.

Brambles I have one shelf in a cupboard that I use for my stuff, I was only looking this morning at what is on the other shelves that I can move, I am going to buy a tool box type thingy today as I have 4 boxes with juices, coils, spare parts, and now my concentrates.

Wondered what the hubby would make of my mixing, he asked what was wrong with bought ones, when I explained it would work out cheaper he was happy

Need to look at dripping atomizers for testing as I don’t want to be using a clearo each time, any recommendations for something simple?
