Shinyitis gone........

Well, as it says, I seem to have overstepped my shiny want bug. I thought I wanted and needed a VTR, and very kindly a member on here sold me theirs which is indeed a fine piece of kit. So, I bought batteries and a charger, then two more hopefully longer lasting batteries, oh and of course an aerotank cos I only had a Protank 2 along with my mini tanks, and I've used the VTR quite happily for a while now.....problem is.....I think I prefer my original kit; mvp, spinner, ego twist, ego. The batteries on the VTR don't last as long as I thought they would, I can only use the two tanks I have. It's good to have just batteries rather than charging the whole kit (mvp) but actually, all I seem to be doing is charging blummin batteries. So........I'm happy to hang on to it all, but I've a feeling it was one 'I want that as well' too many. Proving you can have too much kit, and also proving that shinyitis does, indeed wear off..
I'll stick to mixing new and probably unvapeable juices from now on.

I think I'm quite happy about this I can finally start saving some money

If you've never had shinyitis and just bulk buy cartos from china you're in a different league already sleedale. Alas if you have an aero tank you already fall out of that category. The only tank allowed in that category is a carto tank - right Perpetua

I seem to be in a sorta similar situation sleedale. I have a couple of ego bats stuck in a drawer somewhere as I went for a mini lambo 6 and '500 bats. Great with my mpt v2 and smok aro. Gone off the latter a bit. I then got a Kamry 200+ and a Puritank D I think its called. Those two do not get much use now. Then onto a itaste vv which I like. Last purchase was 3x authentic tumblers. THEY are great. 3.5ml and they fit/look good on the stuff I use. I'm not coverting anything yet. Quite happy with what I have at present.

Hmmm, are you sure the shinyitus has gone sleedale or more a case of the VTR style is not for you? Have you seen the Eleaf iStick?

Nope, it seems to have gone.....for now at least. Just must prefer the MVP really. Like the VTR especially separate batteries, just wish they lasted longer. I'll persevere with it, but the MVP gives more info too. Don't mind at all though. It's nie to finally be happy with what I have. 

blakey, not sure a blood donation would cure anyone's shinyitis, but for a few thousand pounds I'll happily bottle a few drops

my logical reasoning is that to find out what you like and what suits you --- you often have to buy it and try it --- to discover it isn't for you!

eventually you get a good idea of what vape gear suits you best and can stick with it ( bar the occasional shinyitus relapse)

Shinyitis is a funny thing. For ages I was addicted to teh Tobh, then today diddling around found that my poor wee Igo W sitting unused in the corner had dual coils rated at 0.3 gnomes. Hmmm dremel the holes. Now drop in some juice on top of the ipv2. Mini clouds and tastes like heaven The thing? Check your unused gear, there may be an atty or mod there that's feeling neglected and with a bit of attention could turn into an all dayer
