Great price, but one thing to note is the decks...what material is that?? I turned down this option for the group buy based on it looks nothing like the original material :/

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks the decks look a little shady!
I remember when the first squape came out, I had the authentic and my friend got one of the first clones and the "non conductive" deck was shockingly bad, as well as real flakey and generally just a POS

Have seen the UK site which has just put them up for sale which actually work put more than the GB so I'm more than happy with what I've got ordered

tom this was posted on the fasttech forum at 4am, there is no chance we are anywhere near the first fifty, and with the china holiday season due, its something to look forwards to, even if its shady

My (and your?) splurge took place at 12:52

First order comment on F/B was 12:10 BST ("in the basket you go") so, whilst close, I'm inclined to agree that the first 50 is likely to be before me.

If lucky, it will clear customs before the holiday.

Likewise, if lucky it will not short and will have a glass tank.

Ematal/ceramic coated aluminum non-conductive deck

cant help with the glass.

alibaba has 3 other colours red blue and black for people who like to collect, the same shades as lego if they do black lego.

Thanks. It's what comes of bridging time zones for a large multinational.

Alas, I found myself coming closer to agreeing with your original thoughts as I reached further. 

The Glass Question is, I guess, one of those Lucky Bag things. We shall see.
