Just recieved a new kayfun & russian clone from FT & I was wondering what others use for the best results on cleaning any machine oil residue left on them ? They dont feel or smell like they have any on them but Im going to give them a clean anyway, I was going to do my usual thing of a hot soapy bath followed by a soak in vodka ? (then obviously rinse with clean water).....but after reading a few posts on here about cleaning Ive noticed that people use quite a wide range of things....vodka, vinegar, bicarb etc...Ive even heard of someone using coke ???

I put a pot on the boil and drop the attie in for a good 10 mins. That cleans any residue out- then give it a good rinse under the tap. Make sure you remove any o-rings and plastic tanks first.

I just take the tank to pieces, stick it in the ultrasonic with a drop or 2 of fairy and hand hot water, give it a few cycles then rinse well under the hot tap. Job done

Not being blessed with US technology in our house, I give it a good wash with an old toothbrush in hot soapy water, rinse well in hot water, rinse under the cold tap, dry thoroughly with kitchen towel (the vaper's friend!) and then set aside to dry for about . . . umm . . . 30 . . . seconds before the excitement gets the better of me and I build it, fill it, and then vape it!!

Ultrasonic cleaner, often with a denture tablet dropped in for good measure. 3-4 cycles, then rinse, dry, build, fill then vape...

I use THIS ultrasonic cleaner. Give it 3 cycles then rinse under a warm tap then leave to dry. Griff

I've got this one cost me £19 at the time and it works VERY well, put a drop of Miltons in warm water and away you go, worth watching for price reductions, they happen quite often
