Calling all MOD Makers!

Okay, so I am a lazy so’n so and while I am at the PC I do vape rather a lot. However I like to vape different flavours and so I need to have 4 or 5 MODs with the different flavours ready at hand so I can chop and change as I feel like it.

What I need is one set-up where I can get all the flavours I need from one unit.

Say a bar of wood or metal with 5 X .510 sockets mounted along it with enough spacing to accommodate 5 tanks.

Each tank has a soft rubber tube that runs from the drip tips of the top of each tank to a 5-way selector switch that will allow the air to only come from whichever tank I select.

This selector switch will also only power the coil in whichever tank I select.

From the selector switch will also come a tube to my mouth with a drip tip on it.

I would prefer if the unit was powered by a USB Pass-through that I could set to Power (Watts) which would take care of different resistance in the attys.

I reckon there would be a market for a Desk Top Multi E-Cig.

I'm having issues trying to find someone to make me a box mod let alone a multi-selector "pick'n'mix" desktop device

Kinda like the vaping equivalent to the little handheld hoses they have in pubs where they can select from 5/6 different soft drinks in an instance!! Would be bloody handy.

I have questioned it multiple times why there is no desktop mains powered unit.
I sit on the sofa in am evening and to have something plugged in would be a Damn site easier than switching batteries on an hourly basis.

If anyone can create this for you then I am No.2 on the list

Not impossible to do but also not practical for many reasons, so having 5 separate mods is a much better solution.

Get yourself some gaffa tape. Strap as many as you like together.

My idea is a kind of Hookah Pipe but in reverse.

With the Hookah, multi persons can smoke from the same pipe, in mine you have multi flavours but just one receiver.

Really the only difficult bit is the 5-way selector.

Oh well, thinking cap back on, some sheets of paper and a pencil.

Or see if there any pipe organs on freecycle that you can modify.

If you were to do it then i'd say use identical atty's and do something like the chambers of a revolver to take the atty's. Then you'd have just one connector at the bottom for power and one connector at top for pipe/tip.

A lot of the current box mods (Vaporshark, Sigelei 50w, etc) you can vape while charging. So a plug like you use to charge your mobile phone, and a long usb lead is all you need to vape all night. (they aren't strictly speaking 'passthroughs' though, so still need a battery installed).
If you're at your computer you can plug the usb lead in to that and vape on.

Maybe you would want someone to invent a quick change atty connections with a socket on the mod with something like a bayonet light bulb type fitting (or a GU10) and an adapter for each atty that plugged into that, with the atty one being flat so it wouldn't fall over. Then you could use any mod or atty and just swap with a quick twist.

I think the hose idea would take a lot of cleaning and give a very cool vape, which i would personally hate.

Idea of a revolver like barrel is great! So is the "quick change" type fitting.

Maybe something that's connected to the mains with the quick change type fitting on (female end) and your screw your attys into some kinda quick change male connector.
Would mean making multiple connectors but would mean they would fit any atty.

Then maybe build that into some kinda contraption that the attys sit into and are able to be spun around.
That would make the device desktop and would mean you would need some kinda hose with a 510 connection for the drip tip..

I would like an adaption of the SD Keyring idea where the power only comes on when I suck and there is no buttons to push.

With all the other advances that there has been in e-cigs, I am really surprised that no one has come up with a desk-top multi chambered e-cig.

problem with the bayonet type is vype have already done it

using a tube from drip tip end(s) would as has been said before cool the vape too much

think the only real solution would be a hookah setup using a good regulated powerpack on a cube with four outlets and each would contain its own vv/vw board each with its own individual atty attached

the barrel idea would be great if all the attys were the same setting for every flavour as my prefered voltage may change depending on the flavour itself. and to be able to revolve the atties would surely mean weaker contacts over time.

Auto firing maybe a solution but would still need to be controlled individually.

(had a couple of beers and now after reading this my head is overthinking)

Looking at the contacts in the Billet Box, the positive connection is only a copper plate.
The negative is through the carto's body, so 5 deliron tanks, expensive I know but that idea, would allow a revolving electrical contact.
