Hi all Sorry lots of questions- if you can help with any it'll be much appreciated. I've just started using a MPV 2 which came with an iclear 30s clearo but forgot to purchase any spare coil heads. Upon looking at the my e pack website at the precise coil that fits the 30s it says you can get it in 1.5 or 2.1 ohms. I have no idea what to get or indeed which type is in the clearo right now as I haven't taken it apart that much. Do you find they last longer then the average couple of weeks being dual coil or is the dual just to increase a better vaping experience? Also I'm aware the MVP will work with other iclear clearo's plus the kanger and evod ones but with using the beauty ring supplied does this expand to having the choice of pretty much using many of the other clearos out there? If so what do you personally recommend especially if you use/have used an MPV 2 aswell? I've seen that the nautilus bdc and protank 2 seem popular. Did I read right that all the pro tank clearos only seem to work good if you purchase the kanger airflow control along with it? I'm not too fussed on size or how silly it looks, I'd rather have that then one that is maybe smaller but has say known issues for many with trouble connecting right or bodging up the pin inside. My only concern is probably carrying it about for outside use/at work. I know the mod can easily fit in most pockets or even the pouch available but it's the clearo with the e juice in I'm more wary off with it prehaps leaking/getting juice where it shouldn't if say not kept upright enough. Has anyone had any probs with that kind of thing happening? Thank you. P.S Please tell me I'm not the only one who still craved normal cigs after purchasing a vv/vw mod and the highest nic strength e liquid? It's certainly reducing the cravings somewhat but not completely. I don't know whether that's down to my rubbish will power or my body still craving all the other chemicals from a stinkie. I think I put too much hope into this mod being some sort of miracle worker from straight off especially after reading about others vaping journeys.

i used to smoke a lot but i started using ecigs at work and still smoking rollups at home(duel fueling as its called)and most peps do this to start with but in time i found it was easyer to pick up the ecig than make a roll up,but i did not start out whith as good a set up as yours.Dont panic about having the odd cig its more about the ones you dont have to start ok now for the fun bit what to get i have a tank called a kanger mow that is ruddy good and kinda like a cheap areotank but uses the ego threading on the mpv(outside bit) the coils are down to personal taste but with it being vv/vw you can adjust it to a point so idd personaly go for 1.5 coils (only so i could get more outa the top end) the protanks and air cont ring is more of a upgrade thing if you all ready had a protank the mow and aero tank have it built in but as they all use the same coils they are near nuff identical as for leaking if not kept upright tbh with the type of attys your on about getting you souldnt have a prob (sept maybe i little sepage on to the 510 pin but this is the norm) hope that kinda helps myepack.co.uk/clearomizers/kanger-aerotank-mow.html well liked vender on here with fast delivery times

You can indeed use pretty much anything on your MVP rach . . . with or without the beauty ring, depending on the fitting ( Ego or 510 ). I'm still a fan of Protanks, Mini & V2. Though I do also like these from FT if you can take the wait: www.fasttech.com/p/1535302www.fasttech.com/p/1528500www.fasttech.com/p/1620300All of which take the same head as the Protank Mini,V2 & Evod: www.fasttech.com/p/1476404Coil heads can be down to personal preference, play safe and go for the 2.1ohms dual coil - you can always increase the power to compensate. And no, you're far from being the only one who still experienced cravings after buying a more powerful device. Habits don't change overnight for many of us. They didn't for me.

Hi Rach You aren't the only one to struggle at first. Hubby took a year to get completely free of cigarettes, while for me it was close to instant. Don't stress it, that will only make you lunge towards the smokes As perp said just about anything will fit on the mvp and the beauty ring is personal choice, I never use mine. I've never tried a 30s so I can't comment much on it. If you are still getting cravings, it may well be that it just isn't the right tank for you. There are plenty of options to try however. Everyone is different, but for me the most satisfying vape comes from a micro coil and cotton. I eventually learned to recoil, but I understand anyone who doesn't want to (took me 2 years to even try) There are a few places now where you can buy readymade microcoils including Virtual Vape and naturevape. If you go that route then the kanger aerotank mega is the best tank I have found to put them in (I haven't got on with most kanger tanks, but that one is fabulous) If you just want to use stock heads then the nautilus is something to look at. Make sure you get the BVC heads rather than the BDC ones. As for ohms then lower ohms give a stronger vape at lower volts but use up your battery faster. On a VV or VW battery I would stay around the 2.0ohm area to make your battery last longer, but if you are a power junky then go lower. While you are still dual fuelling then I would recommend changing the head regularly, at least once a week. A new head always gives more of a hit than a used one. This is another reason why the cotton wool system is great as you can just change the cotton every couple of days, giving you a new feeling head without costing anything. Different flavours are more satisfying than others, unfortunately that differs from person to person, so you need to find out what works for you Its worth experimenting a little with different tanks and flavours. Although you may waste a little money at first, it is nothing compared to what you will save once you find what works for you.

Thanks guys for the encouragement/info/links. Looked at all your recommendations and watched a few youtube vids..well more than a few, felt like I spent half of sunday doing that, lol. I think what I'm going to do is say get a couple of the I Clear 30S clearo's in the higher ohm and a few in the lower..just to see, otherwise they'll be those annoying what if's?/I wish I'd tried/got... moments swirling round my head and I'll drive myself crackers. Saw some video where a chap had a really cool Dr Who Tardis skin for his MVP 2 and was so annoyed to find they didn't sell them in the UK...although the website does ship here at extra cost. Found myself wondering why there was such a limited number of skins available on UK websites for such a popular mod? The Fast Tech site looks good for it's prices. I've seen it mentioned quite a few times on here and remembered stuff takes a long time to come. Has anyone ordered items from there though to find it not genuine originals or prehaps dud stuff? That is probably my only concern with how cheap the prices are. I'm really taken by the Nautilus mini now after hearing more about it so think that will be my next clearo most definitley- shame it's not cheaper though. Eventually I want to get a second decent vv/vw mod but with limited budget every month (well especially as I can't/haven't quite quit the stinkies yet too) and an ocd in not liking too much clutter I don't want to go down the shinyitis route. (No offence to those that do,lol) Just two mods at a time is ample so understandbly I want to get the best there is...even if it means saving up for it. I've seen some youtube vids raving about the ProVari being the next best thing since sliced bread but am I right in thinking it is very very expensive? I was wondering why they didn't sell it still on my e pack if it's so great? To those who have tried this is there any others that are on parr with the supposed greatness of it? Even if you haven't tried it but have instead tried/owned quite a varied powerful vv/vw mod collection which do you personally think is your best to date that gives the best vape, durability, battery life and especially the least problematic/annoyances to it? Could do with setting up some sort of voting poll ha ha. Thanks again.

You are pretty good with an mvp2 they have been around for a while and are a great work horse. There are a million new batteries appearing on the market atm, it is probably worth waiting to see which ones are still popular after people have had them for a while. I have had mixed results from fasttech. If they state something is authentic then it almost certainly is, if they don't state that it is, then it isn't. For the prices there and the free shipping, I bin any disappointments and am happy with the rest. I confess I have stopped buying tanks from fasttech after too many threading issues. (where they screw onto the battery) I have had some good tanks as well, but I've decided to stick to eu bought originals from now on. I will always buy drip tips from fasttech, they are so cheap and I've only had one that wasn't any good and for 50p then I can cope They do take weeks to arrive. I've ordered some BVC nautilus heads from them, but they haven't arrived yet. They state that they are authentic so I am expecting them to be fine and they are certainly cheaper. I used to say that everyone was daft for wanting more than 2 decent batteries ... I may or may not own a few more than 2

I've only had positive experience of Fasttech must admit rach - perhaps I've been lucky, but I have been reasonably selective in what I've bought from there. The only downside for me has been waiting for a delivery, though my last couple have arrived in 10days, which hasn't been too shabby at all. And I can be patient, which helps. If you're looking for another device then perhaps a Zmax could be worth considering? www.fasttech.com/products/0/10006734/1531203-authentic-sigelei-zmax-v3-telescopic-variableThough I won't say it's any ' better ' than an MVP . . . .

Don't buy the 1.5 ohm heads as they can be very temperamental - stick with the 2.1 ohm heads and the will last for weeks or months. Also make sure sure you order iclear30S heads and not iclear30 heads as they are completely different and totally incompatible !
