Hi All

Just registered with your fine site, Myself and my wife have been off the stinkies for nearly two months now, both purchasing Spinner v2's and Evods at first (wifes still on the Spinner/evod combination), but me ? nah!

Got the bug, upgraded a week later to Itaste MVP, then went atomiser crazy lol. Buying a Nautlius, naturevape midi, pro tank 2..... oh and a wee dripper

Then decided I wanted a mod, (this is starting to cost lol) 1 Kato square mod winging it's way to me.(and batts/charger)

Also decided to mix my own liquids which cost a bit initially, but is starting to reap benefits already, (done a fair GVC Clone, some menthols, and Melon recipes, luckily non have been bad so far!)

So that's about it, probably cost me about the same I would have spent on fags so far, but I now have about a years supply of 72mg Nic base, Pg and VG, and enough bloody concentrates to keep me going for ages.

Hi car147, and to the forum, your experience so far sounds very similar to my wife and I, although I haven't started on the juice mixing, yet , I do however seem to have picked up 'shinyitis'. Plenty of friendly and helpful advice on here tho.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone, Nosmo I was a bit worried at first mixing my own juices, it seemed so complicated, but in fact is very easy, I just researched quite a bit in the mixology threads, looked for hints and tips from the experienced mixers, and downloaded the e-juice me up calculator.

Initial outlay is quite high, but you soon recoup the cost, and so far I have yet to bin any I have made (mind you I do go for the recipes I think I will like)

Sounds like you and the OH are well into the vaping - don't worry, the expenditure will go down now you are sorted with hardware, and you'll just need to learn how to make your own coils and rewick, and you'll be laughing. I don't reckon I spend more tha £20 per month on my vaping, and that's for two of us (my OH vapes now too!).

Hi and welcome car147, congrats on taking up Vaping!!!!! Pass my regards on to the Mrs. It's really fantastic when there are 2 or more mates trying to give up Fags, the support can be great!!
A wee tip for you is that Nicotine Base degrades (goes off) at room temp, but can be frozen indefinitely. If you've got a lot of Nic. Base it's worth splitting it into smaller quantities, labelling it and freezing for future use
