A wee tip for you is that Nicotine Base degrades (goes off) at room temp, but can be frozen indefinitely. If you've got a lot of Nic. Base it's worth splitting it into smaller quantities, labelling it and freezing for future use

Cheers for the tip, the Nic base is now in the freezer ( ( kept 100 ml out for the production line)

Welcome
Made a smart move starting out straight away with mixing!! I have been vaping for about 2.5yrs and am only just getting into mixing, I don't even want to think about how much I could have saved if I had started out when I first got "into" vaping.

As for the money spent, I see it as a full time hobby! So if you take that into consideration along with how much you have saved from buying cigarettes/tobacco... It becomes a lot easier to justify it to yourself, or in my case "the money keeper" AKA The Mrs

Is your other half as involved with vaping as you are? Or is it just something to help her stop smoking and she has no interest in the hobby side?
Thankfully my OH has never smoked, not even a few drags behind the school bike sheds so she has no interest at all but is happy for me to have my "vaping" time and spend my evenings on here! As long as she gets to have the TV remote

She loves the vaping, but not interested with anything more than her Spinner v2 and Evod Marcus. Even offered to buy her a Mod.... which was  met with disgust lol.

So as long as I keep producing vapable liquid (her favourite is Melon at the moment) I am in the good books.

I've a vaping ( dog sitting ) friend who is very similar car147 - despite my best endeavours!

Payment for dog sit services is keeping them supplied in elquid and gear, so it's win win for me . . . I get to indulge in two of my passions - mixing & shopping, knowing that my doggy is extremely well looked after ( spoilt! ) when I'm working. 


Mods aren't always for everyone, not smoking is far more important.

car147 - sounds a bit like my OH: at least it makes buying concentrates a bit easier to slip under the radar. Goes along the lines of "but these are for your favourite juice, and they only cost the same as 40 fags, plenty there for about 150ml of juice for you my dear!".
