Hello from newbie & Thickening Juices ?

Hi! to all the forum members from me Sydsut

I have a question for the forum. Why do some E-Liquids seem to thicken in the clearomiser as they are puffed.

Can't say I notice that especially as I vape VG heavy eliquid, which is thickish anyway.

Do you use sweet/dessert type flavours?

Hi & to the forum sydsut.

Some liquids will thicken up in the clearomisers due to being heated up by the coil. Also they can go a darker colour due to this as well.

It's nothing to worry about.

Really?? You've never noticed it I also vape VG heavy eliquid and I've noticed it quite a bit with some of my juices.

Oh I've always thought it was the heat

Like when you cook a sauce, thickens up when heated

Nature of the mix, temperature, resistance in use...................there are various opinions on what might be the cause, but if it tastes OK and wicks OK just enjoy it.

You see I thought the opposite, like custard!!! Bad example but I had some last night so it's the first thing that comes to mind.
When it's heated up it becomes a lot thinner and runnier..

I could be completely wrong though so don't listen to me

Really?? You've never noticed it I also vape VG heavy eliquid and I've noticed it quite a bit with some of my juices.

Nope can't say I have Toots . . . colour change, caramelizing on a coil which happens when the eliquid is heated, whatever ratio you use, I get all of that.

Like Marcus, when eliquid is heated/warmed it generally thins out.

But if it tastes, wicks ok - then I don't worry about it.

So far I've only used fruit and tobacco flavours 12mg to 24mg nicotine strength.

How regularly do you change your coils sydsut? You could be getting a build up on the wicks, which gives the appearance of your eliquid being thicker perhaps?
