bonnieboy, I'm likely to be round about the forum on Saturday (I know quite a few peeps will be at the Prestleigh meet but I'm sure there'll be a few of us mixers about) so just shout if you have any questions Thanks lairey I was Originally hoping to be at the Edinburgh meet but have to be at home so was hoping to take advantage of being in. Am at present trying to make sure I've got all that I need, think so far I've got it covered, Doesn't mean that I've not got more arriving but should be able to get a couple of mixes including your (I think) absinthe and blackcurrant recipe :DThe other ones I'm hoping to start with are red Astaire and a couple of standalone flavours. Am now going thru posts to try and find out about percentages of concentrates for other mixes. Seems at present to run about 20%

It really depends on the brand and flavour. If you start a new thread listing the flavours you have ordered and asking for recommended standalone% you should get some ideas

Mind you I've got enough nic for now but I sure will need some more VG in the future as I use a lot more of that than nic. Happily Would require an extra amount for postage, if you drop me over an email will give you a price for delivery. Thank you @richard46 . Your comments come well received

bonnieboyAs others have said, it all all down to what you buy and what strength you mix at, so no-ones cost will be the same. I doubt it will cost more than £1.80 a bottle though (10ml ) and that is including the cost of the bottle. Obviously to start with you will be buying 10ml concentrates and if you fancy t.juice they will set you back £4 each, others are £3.50, others are £2. So the setting up costs and learning what you like are expensive, but eventually it will settle down.

lairey It is worse than you imagine, during my short time of vaping I have introduced and I think converted 4 others to the joys of vaping and although they have managed for the best part to get their own hardware, they are on ready made liquids. My problem is that they are encouraging me wholeheartedly to get into mixing and I am afraid that they think that I will be supplying them, to the extent that one of them has made a point os telling me what flavours they like LOL BTW that was not why I asked about the costing it was just something going thru my head at the time when I looked at the stuff I've had delivered.

Oh, I don't think it could be worse that I'd imagine bonnieboy... I have somewhere around 200 concentrates!

everythingliquid I'd be tempted by that price but I'm in the Rep. of Ireland. Would I have a customs problem as well as extra postage? Have you posted nic there before?

Great info and help from a vendor there, so I think you guys will be excused!! Back on the OP, I reckon after buying the reuseables like syringes, empty bottles, etc. I calculate that 10ml of juice costs me about £1.30. I mix a mixture of one-shot concentrates like the T-Juice ones, and use Chef's Vapour for most of my concentrates for recipes. If it's one I know I'll use a lot of, I'll try to buy in 30ml size for an extra saving, and the CCW (CupCake World) ones on Amazon are a great deal too. Nic base I buy by the 500ml bottle at around £35, PG is also bought by the litre, and my VG comes from the local pharmacy where it costs £1.29 for 200ml, and no wait for postage! If you reckon on shop-made juice costing between £4-6 for 10ml, with some cheaper exceptions, then you are saving at least £2 per 10ml, and probably more. Of course the element that isn't cost related is that you have absolute control over the percentage of concentrate, PG/VG, and nicotine in your own juices, plus you know exactly what has gone into them, and you can mix as you need it (+ 4-6 weeks steeping time for the more complex flavours like the custards). Hope this helps!
