Last night this was working fine. This morning nothing but a small gurgling when fired with a range of attys. I appreciate that Chinese copies are not always good but I have had it 2 days! I have messaged Foclecig to advise but wanted to know if there is anything g I should check myself. All contacts look OK and nothing looks broken or burnt. I have tried a new vtc5 in it and the same. The batteries work fine in my other devices. Maybe best to leave it alone and await a reply from focal? Just pissed off as it was working great yesterday

Has any juice got into the 510 connector?.....give it a wipe round with a baby bud.....(that's if I'm reading the problem correctly)

Resistance is still the same.
I have just tried it again and it is working fine now.....which is still not a good thing as I have no idea what was wrong with it.

It's working fine now. Would like to know what it was but will just be careful with it.
Also noticed it keeps sating 'too hot' when it does not seem hot at all. I think this thing is destined to be a backup mod

I would keep it on the VC5 if you can and see if it seems any more reliable to you, nothing to lose, they can misbehave badly with anything under 20A max current batteries I`ve seen it myself with mine

Ok so jo idea what was up with this but it is working well again now. Have had it up to 30w and all seems good.
I don't think it is anything that I did to mess it up so a little confused but happy it is working!

Past couple of days I've been having a similar problem.
I've always run one of my roses on it @20watts. After 3 or 4 tokes it refuses to fire. The resistance and voltage show correctly, just not firing the atty.
Funny thing is though, this morning I set it to 21watts and it hasn't missed a beat. Dropped it to 18watts and it still performed just fine. If I move it back to 20watts I'll get 3 or 4 good tokes and it plays up again. It's almost as if the software has a fault at the 20watt setting.
Really, really strange!!
Sony VTC5 and 0.8 Ohms. 1.2ohms does the same.

I think you need to be careful with these clone dna30s, i spoke to the vendor last night about the problem i had with my clouper 30 and he told me that 11+ mine had failed badly, 2 caught fire and i think mine would have done the same had i not had it in front of me at the time, i had fitted magnets to the battery compartment and was able to get the battery out quickly, this was out of the blue, it had worked perfect before, i would seriously consider taking the battery out before leaving the mod unattended for any length of time, not scaremongering but better safe than sorry.. mine was not a focal mod.
