Re-coiling Kanger twin coils some advice needed

I'm going to perservere with the twin coils, I love the vape I get from the heads when new, otherwise I can just go back to singles and treat them as evods. The weird thing is if I coil at 1.6 ohm in a single I hate it, mine are always at 2.8 - 3.2 ohm (remember i'm old school we never had a choice), yet with the double coils I enjoy 1.6. I think it's all a conspiracy to confuse thick people like me lol.

tgh a single mico coil and cotton is ruddy good but a bit off a faff till you get the cotton bit down

and i 2 have tryied the duel coil malarcy in the kanger heads and the 1st one worked so i was like whats the prob
needless to say have never got one to work right again(both coills heating up at same time ect)
just woundering if you have tried micros and cotton (start at 2 ohm and ive been as low as .8 but they get hot lol)

I've tried micros, seems it works for some, not for me, and i'm bit of an experimentor, if it works great, if not think it through again, then sometimes weeks later try it again, and then give up lol.

When I get the "genious" moment i'll report back, but dont sit on the edge of your seats waiting.

Aah, cocktail sticks may help me today has been a good day, done of load of recoiling and the hubby has commented on how the credit card bill is down since I gave up the stinkies I double coiled some kanger heads ok but found it a bit fiddly keeping them in place whilst I finished off, it probably would have helped if I cba to get the nail clippers from upstairs but I found they moved a lot whilst I was wiggling the kanthal to get it to snap, a couple of cocktail sticks would help I think, thanks

No probs, it's a video I had bookmarked when I first started coiling, I was going to give it a try at some point but haven't got round to doing it yet

... if I thought single coil rebuild were fiddly?.... but I'm going to have to crack this eventually!

I couldn't get the older style kanger dual coils anywhere so I ordered 3 pack of fasttech own, hope they are identical.

If I can't manage dual build, then I'll probably buy the deeper rubber top caps from eBay and stick to single microcoil, but least I can attempt a pair of coils after watching the video
