Our postwoman always has a smile on her face and time for a chat and even pats the dog that tries to bite her hand , so from me a big hats off to the "foot soldiers"

(((( Jason )))) That's so true of many a large organisation isn't regrettably . . . the front line troops have to somehow make workable ludicrous systems dreamt up by those in their cosy offices.

Couldn't agree more i have always found Royal Mail staff to be polite lovely and with a good sense of humor (at least i take the postman wearing shorts in december as funny) - what i don't like is parcel force would have had my HC order by now if they didn't decide to close yesterday

So, I order some things from the U.S, and some from the U.K - they both ship the same day, both have tracking. Today I got the card for the U.S delivery - still nothing for the U.K one. The real annoying thing is that I need the U.K one pretty urgently now (expected a day or two, it's now a week!), but my lovely supplier has been a diamond, and I should at least get something in the next day or so. The fact that a package in the U.K is taking longer to deliver than one from the U.S beggars belief as far as I'm concerned. Not a happy bunny, and complaints/compensation will be forthcoming - I've had enough of them now. Grrr Sorry to moan - but it's time's like this where it really hits home just how bad our national mail service really is.

I think so much depends upon which sorting office your parcel is processed by Peekay and how efficient/organised they are locally. Hope you get your goodies very soon.

I couldn't agree more i generally get stuff in 1-2 days from the uk 9 days ish from china and 2 weeks from the US so i have to say they do a pretty good job here but that also being said all the items iv'e had from the US have been stopped in the same sorting centre in the US for a good few days before moving on
