Can someone tell me how and why the WHO can make bans , restrictions , make countries have tax on products etc. At least with the EU , if we really ( we , as in the UK ) didn't like a policy that would greatly affect us , then we can just leave the EU , and they are elected.
This is a especially bad , when you consider the paragraph in the second article , which said - "Although unlikely to affect the UK where it is already 83 percent, in America the cost of a pack would rise from $10 to $33 according to the Washington Times. The slippery slope of tobacco could set a precedent of any other product from alcohol, guns to fast food, being taxed by the WHO. "
I can't remember who said it, but there's a famous phrase that says " To be able to look into the future , all we need do is look to the past" , all we need to do is look back about 80 years ago in the US and see how well prohibition went. That was at a time when "Joe Public" were a lot more police fearing.Has the WHO actually thought of how the worlds countries are going to enforce these kinds of rules , they can't even stop the rise of cannabis , cocaine etc , let alone vaping and tobacco products. They have their heads so far up their own backsides their close to disappearing.
I've said it before , but I'll say it again , these people want a world which resembles the film "Demolition Man" , I can't think of anything worse.

Oh , just on a side note.Where do the governments of the world think their taxes are going to come from if they remove all the things they get most of their tax revenue from ?
