Non glass tanked can be easily ruined with the wrong juice, I've managed to crack a few 

having said said that most of my atties are non glass as they are more robust generally and I have several glass atties for tank crackers.

what juices do you usually vape ?

This KFL Clone is great quality reddragon - I have 3! It comes with a steel centre section and a plastic one. You can also get the Quartz Kit for it, which is a glass tank

The Quartz kits for kayfuns are hopeless from fasttech. If they arrive in one piece they are really loose fitting and although the juice won't crack them they fall off, they really are poor.

i got a nano kit from mvapes and there much better but still only a single oring either side.

for a first RBA I wouldn't go for a kayfun plus Quartz kit.

Fair point.  Not tried them Greg as don't tend to use tank crackers very often and if I do, they go into an aerotank or nautilus.

Stand by my recommended KFL in the first link though, great piece of kit.

guys as I too am looking into mods and rda's for hubby n I.... great advise already ....but

would we all, looking ahead, be better of with 100% ss tanks, as eventually we surely wont be able to buy replacement glass/pytex/plastic tubes?

am I right or not?

As you rightly say, it depends on your juice, I keep glass or steel tanks for citrus/aniseed type juices, the rest go in poly

I'm certainly not knocking the kayfun in general lairey, I think they're great atties and I have 6 of them. But if you want a glass tank then there's better options IMO.

If you get the kayfun then they come with the PMMA and the SS tank. I've never been a fan of the SS tank as I just prefer to see the juice level but as you say in the scenario you suggest the SS tank would last a very long time and would be a great back up.

you can also but kayfun PMMA tanks from Fasttech in packs of 7 for about £3

No, I know that hun.  What I meant was the particular one that I linked to, out of all the different clones on FT, most of them being shite, that one is a good one

It would be easier to ask what juices I don’t vape and that is tobacco and coffee .
I am trying as many as I can and mixing my own. Generally dessert, mint, sweets but trying most things. I just worry that I would forget and put the wrong juice in but I suppose I have managed so far not to crack anything so maybe I could forgo the glass which would offer me more choice, not necessarily a good thing

Well in that case you could go for the kayfun lairey suggests above and buy a boat load of the replacement tanks I linked above at the same time. If you manage to ruin a tank at just 50p each or less there's little lost

How much would you like to spend.

do you prefer box or tube mods ?

personally my fave mods are a Provari and a Vaporshark.

if you want cheap and dinky the new iSticks seems really popular, just bought a couple for my wife and she loves them. Really small and great battery life
