Provari P3 release

Anyone think the Provape guys may be regretting not releasing the P3  production model earlier given the recent release of the DNA40.

Now I'm not referring to the output rather the move ahead from VW control.
I realise provape have stood still in terms of control but just when they catch up it looks like everyone else is likely to be moving on.

It will be interesting to see if temp control takes off whether the P3 can hold its own for as long as the previous models did.

I didn't fully understand the implications of the features of the new DNA 40 so did a Youtube search and have just watched PB's video (An hour long):

Sounds like amazing technology and great safety features to me and yes I do think Prov 3 has been late. Things are changing so fast. Glad I didn't order on PO from VG now LOL)

It is a long video but really informative.

I'll probably still buy a P3 as the 2.5 is the mod I use most of the time now. Just seems they've made a bit of a marketing faux pas
I realise hindsight is a wonderful thing but why so long from beta to production. It will be interesting to see if they've made any changes.

I too use the 2.5 everyday and it just keeps going. There's still some left for preorder of all three models on VG (lol) go on you know you want it.

Seems like they are always playing catch up but they have a solid customer Base.
I see the provari as the Nokia 3210 of the vape world, basic but built like a brick and always works when you need it to.

I don't think I've ever seen a post with someone complaining that they are having problems with them.
I guess they don't see they need to try and bring anything with cutting edge technology or gimmicks (touch sensor) etc

What they do make they make bloody well

Provape asked dealers not to do pre-orders, which is good because we never would anyway (nothing worse than taking someone's money and then the goods go missing in transit etc).

The order has gone in though and we expect to have them within a couple of weeks.

Imeo won't be too impressed either- he devised his version of temperature control a couple of years back but struggled to get it small enough to fit the mod it was intended for, he called it VIR. The evolv boys got theirs out and beat Imeo to it but I would've thought the provape boys would've been all over this technology
I believe that it's going to take over the way we vape when viewed with the new studies soon to be released on how temperature affects juice

I think for the wait they needed to deliver more.

The box mods out now mean I can vape my attys at 15w or switch to a dripper and bump them up to 30w.

If this had gone to 30w then I would consider a purchase.

The deal breaker for me is not firing below 0.7ohms.

0.3 and I'm buying this mod without hesitation.

I still use my V1 daily with a couple of aw originals from at least two years back
the bats dont last as long as they used to but its all providing me with a vape I have loved and enjoyed and will continue to do so
when it finally gives up I will invest again for sure.
nothing else has lasted as long nor has been as reliable.

Don't get me wrong.

For the average daily vape, reliability wise, doing what it says on the tin-wise - it can't be beaten.

It will be well built and rock solid.

I just want any new device I'm paying good money for to do more for my personal vaping needs.

I think this will be my next vape investment.

I appreciate that blakey.

I am well aware that vv/vw devices mean that coil resistance is less important on these devices.

What it does not account for, for me, is the fact that the coil I need to build for my mechs needs to be that low.

I want to be able to switch from my nemesis to my vw device.

With a mod that will only fire above 0.7 - that doesn't work for me
