Cleaning with IPA

Hi peeps. I've a stash of IPA in my garage that I use for car detailing normally. I understand it's good for cleaning components. How long should I soak for and the stuff I have is 99.9% IPA, so will it need diluting  to say 50/50 first? Ta.

No I wouldn't dilute it, it won't evaporate as well. Careful with any none metal components though as I'm sure you know if you do some detailing

Stay clear of the Tardis though and don't snow foam your mods

IPA may have a go at O-rings and possibly (but doubtful) cheap tank plastics.
I remove all delrin/plastic and O rings before leaving stuff to soak overnight, then rinse with lots of water.

It doesn't need reducing in strength

Lol thanks Greg. Now you've got me wondering what car products I could use. Snowfoaming mods - made me laugh that did. What could I use ironx on though, and a good polish and wax of a vtr wouldn't go amiss. Hehe.

You could use some c1 or c4 (same product) on your mods externally.
