ooh FFS! no wonder I've started muttering about 'conspiracy theories' and assuming the world is out to get me 

I tell you, I'm starting to scare myself when anyone dare mentions 'e-cigs/explosions/danger/passive vaping' I'm in like a rat from a trap with aggressive explanations

It's just so frustrating when you know something works (quitting smoking/addiction) and the 'powers to be' seem to want to stop something that's obviously easy;simple;fail-safe;cheap; stress-free...

I actually despair!
Oh and yeah, I cant bear the press --- I cant read newspapers nowadays, do they all assume we are the audience of an average episode of Jeremy Kyle and lacking any intelligence, it all makes me cringe

With you on that @pep, I was talking to a couple of friends....gent and his son, a couple of days ago, gent used to smoke but stopped and son still does and they were genuinely interested but the FIRST thing son mentioned was......'aren't they dangerous, don't the batteries explode' so I went into a diatribe of information .........I'm getting fed up with all the crap written too, there must be something we can do as a community of vapers to get the message across? Someone we can ALL write to?

That wasn't what drew fiddles attention to the picture.   It was 20mins of staring at it before he spotted the fag!

Seriously, there was another 'story' in DM Online today which I won't even bother linking to, but yet again, wrong charger and left charging overnight! (Toddler 'could have been killed'... was the headline!)

Visited a friend the other day ( also a vaper ) . We stood in the front garden talking for a while and another mutual friend walked up. Just as she did I took a puff from my new istick. Within seconds the mutual friend screamed and ran away. She stood on the other side of the road and shouted. " What are you doing Diane...those things blow up". I was speechless

I assured her it was quite safe, she came back to talk to us but she had her mind made up...constantly flicking her eyes at it...stayed a few seconds, said " nice to see you " and went .

Next time you see her, just suggest she googles "phone battery explosions" or "laptop battery explosions"

So sad, but also very frightening that people can be manipulated so easily., just by what they hear or read without questioning.

I actually did mention that there were more phone explosions....and yes I am really enjoying the istick...i have ordered two more...can't wait for them to arrive. Everything else has been consigned to the cupboard...including my beloved vamo which now only sees the light of day when I'm charging my beautiful pink istick
